The Sins of the Past
Michael (Rory Gibson) knows that he can always talk to his father when he has a dilemma because he trusts that Sonny (Maurice Benard) will give him his honest opinion. Sonny also knows where he’s gone wrong in the past. “I will regret that until the day I die,” he tells Michael. What past action does Sonny lament?
Months ago, Kai (Jens Austin Astrup) alerted Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) to the fact that Willow (Katelyn MacMullen), her client, shot Drew (Cameron Mathison). Willow was acquitted of that crime, but Kai now has some more tea to spill to Alexis. “I’m pretty sure Willow tried to kill Drew again,” he reports. What will Alexis do with this new information?
Feeling the walls closing in on her, Willow is not ready to give up — so she secretly recorded Jack (Chris McKenna) talking about abusing WSB resources so she’d have some leverage against his threats. But given her own soft spot for Jack, it seems that Nina (Cynthia Watros) isn’t on board with her daughter’s latest actions. “I’m not letting go of it until I get what I need,” Willow insists.
Jordan (Tanisha Harper) persuaded Michael to let Drew back in the door at Aurora Media, but sitting down with the former congressman at the Metro Court Gardens, she wonders if Drew can actually make a go of things at the company. “Is Michael someone you’re really willing to work with?” she wonders. Just what is Drew up to here?
Carly (Laura Wright) has wanted nothing more than for Josslyn (Eden McCoy) to leave the WSB, so she should be thrilled that her daughter is taking the CEO position at JJE — because she doesn’t know that the new job is actually a WSB mission! “Accept my decision and do not interfere,” Josslyn orders her mother.
