Pentonville was a hotbed of activity on the October 23 episode of General Hospital as Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) received visits from Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Chase (Josh Swickard), who was more determined than ever to prove her innocence after a testy encounter with Michael (Rory Gibson). Elsewhere, Gio (Giovanni Mazza) had a heart-to-heart with Lois (Rena Sofer), Drew (Cameron Mathison) sought out Ronnie (Erika Slezak) and Tracy (Jane Elliot) defended herself to Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton). Steaming Mad
Chase ran into Michael in the steam room at the gym, where they had an intense conversation about Willow’s arrest. While Chase stood by his belief that Willow couldn’t have shot Drew, Michael insisted that he didn’t know their mutual ex as well as he thought he did. Then, Chase pointed out that numerous people could have had access to the house to get to Edward’s gun, including Michael. To that, Michael shared that the locks were never changed after Willow moved out and that he suspected she’d been sneaking into the mansion to stalk Daisy. Refusing to believe Michael’s theory, Chase called it malicious, especially since Michael had no evidence. That lack of evidence was why he never pressed charges, Michael claimed, explaining that he was telling Chase this now to illustrate what he believed Willow was capable of. Continuing to defend Willow, Chase shouted that Michael was more capable of shooting Drew, had the access and motive to do so, and the resources to protect himself — unlike Willow, who was all alone. “And that is the definition of injustice,” Chase spat out before turning around and exiting the steam room.

Meet and Greet
Over tea and sweets, Cody got to know his new boss, Ronnie. Their conversation about his work in the stables and the common traits Tracy shared with her prickly horse, Hades, led to Cody giving Ronnie a different perspective of the woman. “She can be extremely generous. She’s loyal to a fault. And she would literally do anything for the people that she loves. And she loved your sister,” Cody told her. They also chatted about Drew Cain, with Cody informing Ronnie that the congressman is much worse than the stories she’d heard about him from Michael, and how Tracy stood up to Drew on Monica’s behalf when he began attacking the family. Ronnie was shocked to hear that Tracy had been arrested for drugging Drew with ketamine, but Cody claimed that the congressman had done it to himself and pinned the blame on her. And if she had drugged Ronnie at the tea party, Cody added, Tracy was the kind of woman who would own it when called out and that everything Tracy does is to protect her family. Ronnie scoffed at how attached Tracy was to everything Quartermaine and complained about all the family heirlooms she took with her when she moved out. “She left looking like a walking estate sale,” Ronnie sneered. When Ronnie mentioned that the movers left a box behind, Cody offered to deliver it to Tracy himself.

Sorry Not Sorry
As Tracy was unpacking her things at Lulu’s, Brook Lynn arrived, but Tracy slammed the door in her granddaughter’s face. Refusing to leave, Brook Lynn repeatedly banged on the door until Tracy let her into the house. Still hurt, Tracy wanted to know why her granddaughter took the word of someone she barely knew over her. When Brook Lynn replied that she knew what Tracy was capable of, Tracy responded that she wanted people to see Ronie for the phony that she is, so she had no reason to drug her. Brook Lynn begged her grandmother to apologize to Ronnie for mistreating her and not to exile herself from the family. Having lost her mother and her other grandmother, she didn’t want to lose Tracy, too.
Tracy agreed to consider being nicer to Ronnie but refused to apologize for something she didn’t do. She also had no intention of making Ronnie feel welcome, knowing deep in her bones that Monica did not want her sister to have the house. Her granddaughter insinuated that she couldn’t camp out in Lulu’s living room forever, but Tracy declared that if her family wanted to turn their backs on her for upholding Monica’s wishes, at least she knew she had taken a stand. Fed up, Brook Lynn left her grandmother to sit among her pride and her relics, but before walking out, she told Tracy that she loved her and to call her any time.

Later, Cody showed up at Lulu’s with the box Tracy had left behind. Although she didn’t want to hear about “the virtues of Saint Ronnie,” Cody did make a point to tell his friend that he didn’t see the two of them as being so different. as they are both strong women who don’t let people push them around. “Ronnie’s just nicer about it,” Cody quipped.
Sour Notes
Gio decided to meet with Lois, who told him she was upset he dropped out of school and wasn’t playing the violin anymore. She begged him to put his anger on her — not Dante, Brook Lynn, or himself — and not push music out of his life, which Camila never would have wanted. Gio reasoned that he was simply trying to make sense of finding out that nothing about his life was what he thought it was. Through tears, Lois took full responsibility for Brook Lynn giving him up for adoption, crying that it had been the greatest sacrifice of her life. Gio revealed that it hurt to hear Brook Lynn referred to as his mom, because he thought of Camila as his mother. Acknowledging that Camila was his mother, Lois promised that she wasn’t trying to take that from him. “Then why does this family want something from me that I can’t give?” Gio whispered, adding that Brook Lynn and Dante were nothing more than his biological parents, people he kind of knew from growing up in the neighborhood. “It’s not like I have a relationship with them. And I’m not sure that I want one.”

Following that admission, Lois replied that she hoped one day Gio would let his walls down and asked him to keep his heart open to music. Before he left to meet up with his friends, Gio told Lois that he now understands that she was just trying to do the right thing back then and asked how things were going with her and Brook Lynn. When she shared that things were still strained between them, Gio said he hoped they would be able to fix their relationship someday.
After Gio left, Lois called Brook Lynn, catching her daughter as she left Lulu’s house. But when she got to Sonny’s, Brook Lynn warned her mom that she wasn’t sure if she was going to stay.

At Bobbie’s, Drew updated Martin that Alexis had agreed to represent Willow in exchange for seeing Scout. When Martin offered to speak with the judge to have the restraining orders lifted, Drew told him to hold off since he wanted to have them in his back pocket as leverage. The Davis women could see Scout, but not the Quartermaines or Danny, Drew added. Martin said that was too bad, because then Scout couldn’t meet her great aunt, but Drew didn’t know who he was talking about. Martin explained that the Quartermaines had a new relative to play with, since Monica’s long-lost sister had inherited the estate, not Michael. Surprised by the news, Drew concluded that Monica had a pattern, having cut him out of her life just as she had with her sister.

Outside the restaurant, Kristina met with Jacinda and peppered the escort with questions about her relationship with Michael. After Kristina listed all the big changes her brother had gone through recently, Jacinda maintained that Michael was doing fine, but Kristina worried that he was still in a lot of pain from losing his wife. Jacinda insisted that there was nothing serious between her and Michael, but appreciated that Kristina was protective of her brother. Kristina then offered to buy Jacinda a cup of coffee, but when they got inside, they ran into Drew, who snarked that the police would love to hear about “the meeting of the minds” between Michael’s sister and the call girl who had been paid to drug him.
As Kristina and Drew bickered, he warned her to check with her mother before she opened up her mouth and messed up the deal they’d made. Then he cautioned Jacinda to watch her step because he could still press charges against her. Standing her ground, Jacinda retorted that she’d love to explain to an open court how he loaded up on ketamine then hired her to spend the night with him. Drew tried to deny the allegation, but Jacinda taunted that he got caught and blamed her and wouldn’t have sent a lawyer to Australia to pay her $50k to stay there if he was seeking justice. After tossing Jacinda’s record for solicitation in her face — which she dismissed as no big deal — Drew threatened to point the police at Jacinda, but she countered that she had nothing to hide. As Drew continued his temper tantrum, Kristina cut him off, snapping that he was a public official who got caught with an escort and embarrassed himself. “Not even your scandals are special,” she chided, then exited the diner with Jacinda.

Back outside, Kristina apologized for Drew’s behavior and offered to buy Jacinda coffee elsewhere, but Jacinda asked for a rain check so she could take care of something.

Alexis went to Pentonville to see Willow, who was surprised to learn she’d agreed to be her attorney. For the sake of full disclosure with her client, Alexis revealed that she’d struck a deal with Drew to represent Willow in exchange for the family getting visitation with Scout — but that Danny was not included in the bargain. Willow promised to do what she could to convince Drew to lift all the restraining orders, and wanted Alexis to defend her because she believed she was innocent, not because she was being forced to. Alexis gave Willow an out to decline her services, but she accepted, so they began working on her defense. Willow shared her belief that Michael had shot Drew, then framed her to keep her away from their children, and hoped Drew would recover his memory from that night. Alexis pointed out that in their case, a sudden memory would not only look suspicious to the court but also be exploited by the prosecution, who would think Drew made up the memory to exonerate Willow. Willow was glum as she realized that even if Drew did remember, it wouldn’t help her case. Determining that she had enough to get started, Alexis promised to visit Willow again the next day, and the prisoner was brought back to her cell.

Later, Willow got another visitor: Chase. He revealed that he was going to continue investigating Drew’s shooting as a private citizen until he could exonerate her. Willow didn’t want him to put his job at risk, but Chase insisted the department couldn’t stop him from looking into the case when he was off the clock. Still, she was hesitant about him putting his neck on the line, but Chase stood firm, telling Willow that a person shouldn’t go to prison for a crime they didn’t commit.
Meanwhile, Alexis met Kristina at Bobbie’s and got an earful about her daughter’s conversation with Drew. Kristina wanted to know what “deal” Drew was talking about that he’d made with her mom. But before she answered that, Alexis caught Kristina off guard with the revelation that she was defending Willow.

Following her run-in with Drew, Jacinda asked Michael to meet her at Haven and filled him in on what happened at Bobbie’s. Worried about the legal threat Drew made, she wanted Michael to help her disappear. Michael suggested that if she left town, the police might call her alibi for the night of Drew’s shooting into question, and as long as they stuck together, the police couldn’t prove that they weren’t together that night. When Jacinda noted it was convenient that Michael was with an escort when Drew was shot, he smiled and conceded that his alibi was terrible. Instead of her leaving town, Michael said he wanted to pay Jacinda to fall in love with him!

Ronnie answered the door at the mansion to find Drew on the other side. Taking stock of the man in the suit, unaware of who he was, Ronnie declared that she had a really nice relationship with the Lord, then attempted to close the door. Reaching out his hand to stop the door, Drew asked if she was Veronica Bard. Confirming she was, Ronnie asked how she could help him, and Drew stated that he was there to help her.
