Keep on reading for the recap.
Temporary Fun
At the Brown Dog Bar, Britt flirted with the handsome stranger who bought her a drink after she drove away all her G.H. colleagues. When he propositioned a one-night stand, they agreed not to exchange names or numbers, so Britt suggested aliases. Jude cringed when she tossed out “John” and “Jane,” and decided to call her “Stunner.” After making sure he was a good kisser, Britt dubbed him “Crackerjack,” and the two left the bar.

Romantic Rendezvous
Trina freaked out that Quinn’s “sister’s” house was decorated for a night of romance, and then he wouldn’t let her leave. Finally, Kai showed up at the rented Airbnb, pastries and champagne in hand. He explained that Quinn was helping him surprise Trina, but he’d gotten delayed. Relieved that her earlier car trouble had been Quinn tampering with a spark plug on Kai’s behalf, Trina forgave Quinn.
After Quinn left, Kai shared that he’d wanted to do something special for his girlfriend, and they made love. Later, Kai and Trina talked about moving in together but decided they weren’t ready to take that step.

Back at Trina and Josslyn’s apartment, a new bouquet of roses had mysteriously been delivered with a creepy, unsigned note that read, “Trina, Can’t wait until we’re finally face to face. I’m your biggest fan.”
Lie of Omission
In the Deception office, Serena scrambled to get Jason to sign paperwork under the ruse of it being a time-sensitive contract, but he called her out on trying to trick him into signing over Michael’s proxy. When Jason threatened to tell Tracy, Serena explained that her mother wanted creative control back of Deception, not full ownership. She begged him not to tell Tracy, and Jason agreed to keep Serena’s scam to himself for now — as long as nobody specifically asked him about it.

Thorny Situation
Valentin went to Josslyn’s apartment to convince her to sell him the piers. He argued that Donna and Avery would blame her for driving their father out of town, which would put strain on Carly, and asked Joss to abandon her vendetta against Sonny. Josslyn insisted that while she didn’t want to hurt her mother, Carly had sacrificed too much for Sonny over the years, so she wasn’t going to back down.
Realizing he wasn’t getting anywhere, Valentin asked Josslyn to consider his offer for her mother’s sake, if not for her own. As he opened the door to leave, Valentin and Josslyn found the bouquet of roses in the hallway for Trina. After putting them on the coffee table, Joss called Hudson and informed him that she’d decided which of Sonny’s properties JJE should go after next.

Belief System
Anna dropped by to see how Sonny was doing after Gio moved out. Sonny expressed his frustration that no one believed he wasn’t responsible for Curtis’s assault but acknowledged that he understood why. Anna recounted her recent experience while in the mental institution, where the hospital staff didn’t believe what prompted her mental breakdown. Sonny declared that the way Anna had found her way back was inspiring and gave him hope that he could, too.

All the Right Grooves
Carly got to Lucas’s apartment after the hospital mixer ended, giving the siblings one-on-one time to talk. Lucas asked if Carly worried her relationship with Valentin would end now that Anna was back in town. Carly explained she was supporting Valentin joining Anna in therapy, and while she wanted to be with him, she’d never chase after another man again. So, if Valentin wanted to be with Anna, she’d accept it.
Lucas said he’d noticed Carly had her groove back ever since she’d started seeing Valentin. He encouraged his sister to fight for her relationship, rather than being noble with the Anna situation and giving up what she and Valentin had.
