General Hospital: Who is Trina’s Obsessed Fan?

Someone in Port Charles has their eyes on Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) — and the latest General Hospital reveal has fans wondering who it could be. The soap delivered a classic soap mystery moment when a bulletin board covered with photos of Trina came into view, signaling that someone has been secretly keeping a very close watch on her.

So who is behind the unsettling discovery? And what does this obsession mean for Trina? As viewers wait for answers, the mystery surrounding her secret admirer is just beginning.

A Classic Soap Mystery Begins for Trina Robinson

Fans braced themselves for a stalker/obsessed fan storyline for Trina when, in Soap Opera Digest‘s exclusive GH summer preview, Head Writers Elizabeth Korte and Chris Van Etten hinted, “Trina is at the center of someone’s attention, but that isn’t a good thing.”

The story officially kicked off on the July 22 episode as Trina hung out at the Surf Lodge with her boyfriend, Kai (Jens Austin Astrup). The rising music star shared the news that she and their friend Gio (Giovanni Mazza) had officially signed their contracts with Simon’s (Grady Eldridge) record company, and Kai was eager to celebrate. He swept Trina into an embrace — all under the watchful (and somewhat glowering) eye of Quinn.

Quinn, played by Jequan Jackson, returned to the canvas in the same episode. He was introduced in November 2024 as a friend of Kai’s from the PCU football team. The character had last been seen in February 2025 when, after Kai sustained an injury that ended his football career, Quinn lashed out at Trina (Tabyana Ali), implying that Kai’s split focus since getting into a relationship had led to him getting hurt and that it was somehow Trina’s fault.

Who Is Obsessed with Trina?

When Quinn resurfaced, he approached Kai and offered an apology for the way he’d spoken to Trina in the wake of Kai’s accident and voiced his hope that they could repair their friendship. Kai made it clear that Quinn owed Trina an apology, as well. When Trina arrived, she was surprised to see Kai chatting with Quinn.

Quinn told her he was sorry about his past treatment of her, acknowledging that he’d never really given her a chance. Trina politely replied that she knew he and Kai used to be tight and that she didn’t want to get in between the two of them. Quinn proposed that the three of them hang out sometime before taking his leave.

It was while Quinn was across the eatery, observing Kai and Trina’s affectionate kissing session, that ominous music began to play — and the screen filled with the bulletin board plastered with images of Trina.

What the show deliberately did not reveal, of course, is the identity of the bulletin board’s owner.

Given how the show cut from Quinn to the bulletin board, Quinn immediately shoots to the top of the suspect list — or the timing of his comeback could instead be the perfect red herring.

Or perhaps the potentially dangerous Trina stan is instead another new addition to the canvas, music executive Simon, who just signed Trina to his label. Nothing in how he has presented himself thus far suggests that he is secretly obsessed with Trina, but who knows what he’s like behind closed doors? Not only that, but in the same episode as the photo collage was unveiled, Simon noted to an unknown person on the phone that while he had signed both Trina and Gio, Trina was “the one to watch.” Another red herring, or a tantalizing clue?

Then there’s the possibility that the person obsessed with Trina is someone from her past, the most obvious — and threatening – option being Esme Prince (Avery Pohl). Esme has been presumed dead since January 2024, alongside Trina’s beloved Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez), who lost his life saving Trina from the vengeful and ruthless Esme, who had targeted Trina for years.

If Esme somehow did survive, it makes sense that she would have Trina in her crosshairs, just as she did before she was “killed” — and surveilling Trina would track with the behavior of a woman desperate to carry out some horrible act against her.
