Katie (Heather Tom) wanted to make sure that Logan was a success, but following Brooke’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) latest contentious visit, she’s more determined than ever that her fashion house come out on top and bury the competition. “I am gonna bring Forrester to its knees,” Katie vows to Wyatt (Darin Brooks).
Meanwhile, Brooke tries taking another approach to getting through to her sister and talks to Bill (Don Diamont). “She’s gone too far,” Brooke informs her brother-in-law, “and you have to help me stop this.”
Whatever Brooke said to Bill seems to have done the trick, because he later urges Katie to lighten up a bit. “I think it serves us well to ease up on Forrester,” he suggests. But Katie immediately smells a rat. “What is really going on?” she asks her husband, irritated.
Daphne (Murielle Hilaire) is excited about the possibility of realizing her dream of starting a family now that Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) has agreed to be her and Carter’s (Lawrence Saint-Victor) surrogate. “Steffy is doing such a generous thing for us,” she reminds her husband. Carter broods, hoping Daphne will never find out the truth that the surrogacy is a smoke screen to cover up the fact that Steffy was already pregnant with his baby after their one-night stand.
Since being pressured into agreeing to the surrogacy lie, Steffy had been dreading telling Finn (Tanner Novlan), and now that he’s home from his business trip, it’s time for her to face the music. “While you were away, we went ahead with the procedure,” Steffy reveals. Having thought they were on the same page about the surrogacy idea, Finn is stunned to learn that she went against his wishes and agreed. “What?!” he exclaims, shaking his head in disbelief. Can Steffy persuade Finn that it will all work out okay in the end?
