Days of our Lives Spoilers Video: Heartbreak and Joy!
A Lying Liar Who Lies
In the promo video for the week of October 21 on Days of our Lives, spoilers show that Steve has made it to Paris to expose fake Abigail and he wastes no time. “This woman is an imposter. She’s a con artist,” he adds, to drive the point home. Chad looks shaken and devastated. The voice-over says, “He fell for a lie and found heartache,” as Chad leans over, hands on his knees, barely able to keep his balance.
The woman who claimed she was Abigail looks almost as heartbroken as he does but she can barely face him. “Why were you pretending to be my dead wife,” he yells at her, desperate for it to make sense. “I need to tell you who I really am,” she says as he looks on with surprise.
Tensions Boil Over
The voice-over returns to say, “He’s blind to the truth,” as we see a flashback of Johnny walking on Alex having sex with a woman Johnny assumes is his wife. The scene switches to Johnny sitting at a bar near a strange woman. “My wife’s cheating on me,” Johnny says. She reacts to his over-sharing with one word, “Whoa.” The voice-over continues, “And finds Joy.”
“Chloe Lane’s little sister, Joy Wesley,” says Bonnie, filling in the blanks about the new woman in town to her producers, Abe and Kate. The scene switches from the Body and Soul production office to Nancy’s hotel suite as Joy sneaks in the door. “Where were you last night,” asks her worried mother. “I met somebody,” she says. “Who,” asks Nancy.
That’s when we see Johnny walk into a room where he seemingly catches his wife and Alex talking. “Johnny,” says a happy Chanel but that’s the last moment she’ll be happy for a while as her husband loses it. He yells, “I saw you!” A confused Chanel asks, “What are you talking about?” He explodes, “I know you two were having sex in here!” Chanel’s eyes widen and her surprise is evident.
Meanwhile back at the hotel suite, Nancy has found a wedding band and holds it up to her daughter. “Did you sleep with this man,” we hear her ask Joy.
