Comings and Goings: General Hospital, Young and Restless DAYS, B&B and BTG As Of January 5
From a much-anticipated debut to a veteran’s departure, here’s the very latest casting information about who’s coming and who’s going on General Hospital, Young and Restless, Beyond The Gates, Bold and Beautiful, and Days of Our Lives.
Who’s Coming
Beyond The Gates
Darryl W. Handy (Marcel Malone): The detective is on-screen again this week.
Najah Jackson (Samantha Richardson):
Camryn Jade (Jessica): Jade returns as the high school student involved with Tyrell (Jaden Lucas Miller).
Kenjah (Dr. Madison Montgomery): The actress notched more screen time this week as Chelsea sought out medical advice from Anita’s (Tamara Tunie) physician.
Robert Christopher Riley (Dr. Carlton Fitzgerald): Carlton is on hand to offer comfort to Nicole (Daphnee Duplaix) this week.
Bold and Beautiful
Brayan Nicoletti (RJ Forrester): Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Ridge’s (Thorsten Kaye) long-MIA son is returning to the canvas in the form of Nicoletti, who will be making his daytime debut. RJ was last played by Joshua Hoffman from 2023-24.
Days of Our Lives
Judi Evans (Bonnie Lockhart Kiriakis): The veteran star has been absent from the Salem scene since October 2025, but later this week, Evans’s Bonnie appears in scenes with Lauren Koslow (Kate).
Conner Floyd (Chad DiMera): The wait is over — almost! Floyd landed the role of Chad last summer, when Billy Flynn vacated it after a 10-year run to take over the role of Cane Ashby on Y&R, and has been taping for months, but due to the long gap between when DAYS shoots its episodes and when they air, Flynn is still on screen. However, it has now been revealed that Floyd’s debut in the role will take place in April. The actor winked in an Instagram story, “See y’all in April.”
Peter Porte (Dimitri Von Leuschner): Porte returned as Dimitri on January 2 and will make several more appearances this week as the character reestablishes his presence in Salem.
General Hospital
Asher Antonyzyn (Danny Morgan): Danny interacts with Charlotte (Bluesy Burke) and becomes privy to the secret that Charlotte knows exactly where her fugitive father, Valentin (James Patrick Stuart), is hiding out.
Bluesy Burke (Charlotte Cassadine): When Charlotte sneaks a visit with Valentin, she reveals the details of her encounter with shady Sidwell (Carlo Rota).
Nanzeen Contractor (Acting DA Justine Turner): Justine does her best to convince the jury that Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) shot Drew (Cameron Mathison).
Daniel Cosgrove (Ezra Boyle): Ezra’s testimony shakes things up when Willow’s trial resumes after its holiday hiatus.
Paige Herschell (Jacinda Bracken): Jacinda is faced with a big decision about whether to try to keep Michael’s (Rory Gibson) alibi intact for the time of Drew’s shooting when it comes under scrutiny.
Tim Lounibos (Judge Sullivan): Lounibos is back in the role of the judge presiding over Willow’s trial. The actor made his television debut back in 1991 playing the short-term role of Glen, a therapist, on Y&R, and has subsequently appeared on shows like Criminal Minds and The West Wing.
Jen Ray (Suzanne): Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) relies on her assistant as Willow’s trial brings dramatic revelations.
Young and Restless
Catherine Kresge (Detective Annie Stewart): Matt’s (Roger Howarth) partner-in-crime continues her trouble-making streak.
Who’s Going
Beyond The Gates
Antoine Jackson (Rick): The actor appeared last week in scenes with Karla Mosley (Dani) and Lauren Buglioli (Vanessa). “Truly grateful to have been a part of such a beautiful historical show and in season 1! Grateful for the work we did and the beautiful people I’ve met and connected with. Thank you to everyone for tuning into my episode! All glory to the most high! Keep going✌🏽,” he enthused on Instagram.
Days of Our Lives
Bryan R. Dattilo (Lucas Horton): The fan favorite, who originated the role of Lucas back in 1993, wrapped up his latest visit last week. As always, the door was left wide open for his return.
Billy Flynn (Chad DiMera): The actor, who is currently airing both on DAYS and as Y&R’s Cane, will officially conclude his Salem tenure in April.
Alice Halsey (Rachel Black): Halsey finished filming at DAYS last year when she was cast as Laura Ingalls in Netflix’s remake of Little House on the Prairie, and her successor in the role of Rachel will debut in March.
Marissa Reyes (Ari Horton): Ari has also been recast, with a new actress taking over the role in March. Reyes made her debut as Ari in May 2025.
General Hospital
Jon Lindstrom (Kevin Collins): On Monday’s episode of GH, Kevin agreed to wife Laura’s (Genie Francis) request that he head overseas with young Ace to keep the boy safe from Sidwell. Lindstrom, who has played Kevin on and off since 1993, returned to the show for a short-term stint last month after a year-long absence, during which time he was working in Atlanta, playing Joey Armstrong on BTG. He’ll continue to be seen on BTG in its second season.
Status Change
Beyond The Gates
Ben Gavin (Derek Baldwin): When the show’s second season officially kicked off last week, eagle-eyed viewers spotted a shift in the credits — original cast member Gavin is no longer listed among the on-contract actors, but rather his name appears in the recurring cast section. BTG has many recurring players with robust screen time, so Gavin going off-contract doesn’t necessarily mean that Derek won’t be featured as Season Two continues to unfold.
Bold and Beautiful
Sydney Bullock (Dylan): The actress, whose first appearance as Dylan took place back in August 2025, has signed a contract with the show.
Real-Life Status
Baby On Board: GH’s Josh Swickard (Chase) and his wife, Lauren Swickard (who played Ferncliff nurse Janice back in 2023), shared exciting news on Instagram: Lauren is pregnant with the couple’s third child! The new addition will join big sister Savannah, 4, and big brother Arthur, 2.
Love Is In The Air: There’s a new set of multishow lovebirds to celebrate! GH star Adrian Anchondo (Marco) confirmed on Instagram that he is dating Colton Little, who DAYS fans know as Andrew Donovan…. Speaking of celebrating, B&B star Ashleigh Brewer (Ivy) tied the knot with film producer Mark Bauch on December 11, 2025. It is the Australian’s actress’s first marriage.
