Actor Roundup: What Was Your Best And Worst Summer?

Annika Noelle (Hope, B&B) "Let's start with the bad: My worst summer was going into college, which is supposed to be the time of your life. Instead, I had gallstones, mononucleosis and all four of my impacted wisdom teeth taken out. That was a rough summer. The best summer was after I graduated college. I volunteered at a wildlife rescue and rehabilitation center in Thailand and worked with the elephants. It forever changed my life for the better and influenced much of who I am today. I will always remember that summer."

Jennifer Gareis (Donna, B&B) "When I was just a little kid, my mom was in a terrible car accident and was hospitalized for weeks. That was by far my worst summer ever. And then, having my mom back the following summer, was by far the best!"

Arianne Zucker (Nicole, DAYS) "Okay, one of my best summers was traveling with [daughter] Izzy and [boyfriend] Shawn [Christian, ex-Daniel, DAYS]. I want to say it was probably two summers ago. Izzy was in five states because we were doing [our travel website] Lux Soul Traveler. It was fun to watch Izzy experience this whole thing of traveling, camping and boating and really nice hotels. It just went from one extreme to the other. It's a beautiful thing to watch your children enjoy it. So that was one of my favorites. I just really cannot think of a worst!"

Michael Mealor (Kyle, Y&R) "My best summer was the summer my dad spent in L.A. with me. We drove cross-country and it was a blast. I can't remember my worst summer but I'm from Georgia and there are a lot of thunderstorms during the summertime. I'm sure it was a summer that was extra-stormy and I wasn't able to be outside as much."

Kathleen Gati (Obrecht, GH) "My worst summer? I was 19 and I got a Dear John letter from my 'first kiss' boyfriend. I was in ballet summer camp having lunch with the 100 students when the song 'Color My World' came on over the speakers, and I went running from the cafeteria in tears! Best summer? When [husband] Michael took me to Kauai and proposed to me on August 13, 2011!"

Rena Sofer (Quinn, B&B) "My best summer was probably the first summer I was married to Sanford [Bookstaver]. I see this summer coming up as the worst."

Sean Dominic (Nate, Y&R) "Worst summer had to be when my brothers and I were young and our mother got deployed to the Middle East during Desert Storm. We had to stay with my grandparents and all I could think about was her safety. Best summer was also when I was young. My mother dropped my brothers and me off with my grandparents again but we got to spend it with my cousins. They are like my brothers and sisters, so it was a fun-filled summer."
