Who Is Ivy Forrester on Bold and Beautiful?

Ivy Forrester hasn’t been on Bold and Beautiful for years, so it’s understandable if newer viewers don’t know who she is. And if you’re a longtime fan who just needs a refresher, we’ve got you covered! The character debuted in July 2014, played by Australian actress Ashleigh Brewer until her exit from B&B in 2018. In March 2024, it was revealed that Brewer would be reprising her role, but it was only a brief visit. Then, in October, she returned again for more!

Ivy is Eric Forrester‘s niece and was brought to Los Angeles by Eric and Rick to work on the new jewelry collection to replace Quinn Fuller. She began working closely with Wyatt Fuller and befriended her cousin, Aly Forrester. While on a business trip in Paris, Quinn used Ivy to interfere with Liam Spencer‘s plans to marry Hope by pushing her into a river! Liam dove in to save Ivy, who urged him to hurry to his wedding, but it was too late. Hope married Wyatt instead, and Liam found comfort with Ivy.

As Liam grew closer to Ivy, it sparked a rivalry with Hope. But even after Quinn’s interference in Paris was exposed, Liam decided to remain with Ivy. When Steffy Forrester returned, she immediately tried to get Liam back, but he again opted for Ivy. After learning that her papers had been filled out wrong and she would be deported, Ivy worried she’d lose her new life, but Quinn stepped in and helped her marry Liam so she could stay in the country. Although they’d put on a show for INS, once Ivy’s dual citizenship was confirmed, she reluctantly told Liam, and they annulled their short-lived marriage. She then moved on by getting close to Wyatt.

Although Steffy claimed Aly had fallen and hit her head on a rock, causing her death, Ivy had video footage of her hitting Aly with a tire iron. She wanted justice for her friend, but Wyatt insisted on protecting Steffy. She used the video to blackmail her way into becoming the new Face of Forrester, but that ultimately backfired as Steffy fired her from the company. Ivy and Wyatt’s relationship was threatened when Thomas Forrester saved Ivy from a falling spotlight and became smitten with her. After Ivy finally gave in and made out with Thomas, Steffy told Wyatt, who was crushed. During a fight with Steffy backstage at Forrester, Ivy was pushed into an electrical panel and nearly electrocuted!

Ivy had a restraining order drawn up against Steffy and reconciled with Wyatt, though she began having feelings for Liam again. When Wyatt proposed, Quinn revealed Ivy was still in love with Liam, so he called it off. As Ivy was packing to return to Australia, she had another argument with Steffy and, in the struggle, fell down the stairs! Thankfully, Ivy recovered and flew home to Australia, leaving the Forresters and their drama behind.

In May 2024, Ivy popped back to Los Angeles and had drinks with Liam. She admitted that Eric had talked to her about reviving the Forrester jewelry line, but she seemed much more interested in flirting with Liam and trying to rekindle a spark. He was very flattered, and they shared a kiss, but then Steffy interrupted and inserted herself as a third wheel, so Ivy said her goodbyes.

Ivy returned in October, having been contacted by Carter Walton about relaunching the Forrester jewelry line. She had her niece, Electra Forrester, along to assist her, and tried pitching Steffy on reviving the line, but the CEO felt like she was being ambushed. Later, Eric was delighted to see Ivy and Electra and suggested they pitch their jewelry line to Ridge. Ivy felt Steffy’s decision was personal, not business, and Ridge liked their designs and approved it, promising he’d deal with Steffy himself. Eric also invited the ladies to move into the Forrester mansion with the rest of the family. 

As Forrester prepared the press release for the new jewelry line, Ivy couldn’t understand why Electra didn’t want her name or photo included, as she was an important part of it. Eventually, Electra confided in Ivy that the reason she’d moved to LA was because someone had made deepfake nude photos of her and put them all over the internet. She worried it might happen again, and Ivy promised to protect her niece. After the photos leaked online, Electra was fired, and Ivy explained the situation to the Forresters to help get her niece rehired. As a bonus, her stalker, Remy Pryce, was arrested.

Ivy supported Electra’s relationship with Will Spencer and supported her niece when she finally decided she was ready to take things to the next level. She was appropriately horrified when Electra learned that Luna Nozawa had gotten Will drunk to have sex with him and was now pregnant with his baby, and urged her niece to seriously consider if Will was the right guy for her.
