Who Is Electra on Bold and Beautiful?
Electra may be a relatively new character on Bold and Beautiful, but she’s well-connected to the Forrester family! The actress who plays Electra on the soap is daytime newcomer Laneya Grace, who debuted in the Oct. 22, 2024, episode of B&B. She might be familiar to viewers from her modeling in ad campaigns for brands like Old Navy and Guess.
Electra Forrester is the granddaughter of John Forrester (played by the late Fred Willard), who was Eric Forrester‘s brother. She traveled to Los Angeles with her aunt, Ivy Forrester, who had been contacted by Carter Walton about reviving the Forrester jewelry line. (Electra and her father, John Forrester, Jr., traveled around, which is why she doesn’t have Ivy’s Australian accent.) The young woman waited in reception until her aunt introduced her as someone who would be assisting her with the jewelry line going forward.
While Steffy Forrester was delighted to see Electra, she felt like she was being ambushed with the proposal. Electra declared she’d always looked up to Steffy and even wrote a report about her grandmother. Ivy insisted they could help contribute to making Forrester Creations better than ever, and Carter urged Steffy to consider it. Eric invited the ladies to live at the Forrester mansion and helped ensure that they got jobs at the family business. Electra ran into fellow new employee Will Spencer in the hall, and the two were immediately smitten with each other.
Electra grew nervous when Katie Logan wanted her to publicly represent the new jewelry line, confiding to Ivy her fear that “he” would find her. She was happy when an old friend, Remy Price, arrived in town and they caught up. Electra revealed to Ivy that she’d moved to Los Angeles because someone had used AI to doctor photos of her into more scandalous images, leaving her humiliated. Electra shared her first kiss with Will and assured him she and Remy were only ever friends. But as Remy began coming on stronger, she had to push him firmly into the Friend Zone.
When Katie suddenly fired her from Forrester, Electra was stunned, but that was nothing compared to when she found the AI pictures in Remy’s room and realized he was behind the photos and sending them to Katie so she’d lose her job. She made a run for it and texted Will her location so that when Remy cornered her on a rooftop, he was able to come to her rescue, and the creepy stalker was swiftly arrested. Naturally, once the truth was revealed, Electra got her job back.
As 2025 began, Electra found her happiness threatened by Luna Nozawa, who was not shy about letting Will know that she would be happy to give him what Electra wasn’t ready for — sex. Electra tried to warn her to back off, but Luna was just amused. When Will later reported that Luna was still texting and flirting with him, Electra once again threatened her rival, even knowing that she’d previously killed two men. When Luna’s threats intensified, Will volunteered to go undercover and trick her into a confession. Electra watched in horror via hidden camera as Will lied to Luna that he’d dumped his girlfriend and the two shared a passionate kiss. But it got worse when Luna discovered the wire and threatened to shoot Will. Electra was relieved when Luna instead just kicked him out of the house, and even more so when Luna’s subsequent violent rampage ended with her being shot to death.
