Which kitchen gadget are you loving right now? “I got a really great meat thermometer and I love thing thing! It’s so accurate and fast. There’s no more guesswork when it comes to cooking steaks and now I make the best steak.”
What was your favorite recent gift? “For my birthday, someone gave me a beautiful set of steak knives. How apropos, since I can now cook the perfect steak. When I got them, I rearranged my utility drawer and got rid of old stuff. Every time I open up that drawer, I’m like, “Wow! Looks great!’ ”
What’s your favorite question to ask people? “I like to ask people their last names and try to guess where they’re from. I get a kick out of trying to match last names with different regions.”
What is always in your refrigerator? “Milk. I’ve been a milkaholic all of my life. I can’t get enough of it. Keep a lot of carrot juice in my fridge, as well.”
Which era would you like to live in for a week? “The future. I want to live in an era where there’s space travel and colonies on other plants. I love movies of that genre.”
