GH Recasts Nina With Cynthia Watros!
Cynthia Watros, a 1998 Daytime Emmy winner for her work as GUIDING LIGHT’s Annie, has been tapped to replace the exiting Michelle Stafford as Nina Reeves. She will begin taping in June. Stafford, who is rejoining Y&R as Phyllis, created the role of Nina in 2014. Watros was last seen on daytime as Y&R’s Kelly, who she played from 2013-14. Executive Producer Frank Valentini commented on Twitter, “It’s a bittersweet day. I love @TheRealStafford and wish her all the best. I’m also really excited about @watroswatros joining the #GH family and continuing Nina’s legacy.”
