Inside the Quartermaine boathouse, Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) draws a line in the sand with Nina (Cynthia Watros). “We will control Drew [Cameron Mathison] without taking drastic action,” Willow forcefully informs her mother. That’s coming from the woman who shot Drew in the back and then, when that didn’t get rid of her husband, used drugs to keep him in a locked-in state for months! What kinder and gentler way of dealing with Drew does Willow have in mind?
At the Deception offices, Tracy (Jane Elliot) lights into Lucy (Lynn Herring) as Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) looks on. Already angry that Lucy found a way to take Brook Lynn’s shares in the company, Tracy asks her, “What is preventing you from using a grieving child to steal Maxie’s?” Would Lucy really use James to get her hands on his mother’s shares of Deception?
Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) meets with Laura (Genie Francis) in her office, where she updates him on a new development. “I’m sorry to say that’s going to end today,” the mayor informs him. Is this the end of Dante’s run as the acting police commissioner now that Anna (Finola Hughes) is back?
Anna is getting back into the swing of things at the PCPD and catching up on what she missed. And part of that includes checking in with the staff, in this case, Chase (Josh Swickard), who Dante demoted to beat cop during her absence. “I need to know that I can trust you,” Anna tells Chase.
Rocco (Finn Carr) is working at The Metro Court Pool when Sonny (Maurice Benard) shows up and stops to talk to him. “Can you take a break for a bit?” Sonny asks his grandson. “It’s important.” What does Sonny need to discuss with Rocco?
