General Hospital Recap: Willow Does Damage Control as Cullum Orders Brennan Kept Locked In
On General Hospital on Wednesday, May 13, Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) tried to do damage control, Nina (Cynthia Watros) begged an unconscious Jack (Chris McKenna) for forgiveness, Lucas (Van Hansis) and Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) prepared for the inevitable, Michael (Rory Gibson) filled in Jacinda (Paige Herschell) on his plan, Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson) shared his theory with Portia (Brook Kerr), Curtis (Donnell Turner) helped Jordan (Tanisha Harper) face her fear, Kristina (Kate Mansi) opened up to Ethan (Nathan Dean) about her loss, Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) helped Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) and Chase (Josh Swickard) with their adoption plans, and Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) gave Sidwell (Carlo Rota) an order. Here’s everything that happened.
Cabin Fever
At the cabin, Isaiah told Portia that he’d been questioned by Turner about the night of Jordan’s accident, and he suspected that Curtis was the one who’d accused him. Portia believed Isaiah’s claim that he wasn’t the other driver, but understood why Curtis presumed otherwise. Isaiah frowned that he didn’t want to come between Portia and her family, but couldn’t prove he wasn’t responsible for the crash. Portia said they’d have to pray the PCPD found the actual culprit.

Meanwhile, a frustrated Curtis told Jordan that because Isaiah had stonewalled Justine, there wasn’t enough to build a case against him. Curtis planned to find evidence himself, and Jordan agreed that Isaiah was acting like a man with something to hide. Curtis expressed his concern that Jordan was hiding herself away because of her scars. Walking over to the mirror, Jordan removed her bandage and looked at her reflection, declaring that she wanted the other driver to face what he did to her.

Nothing To Hide
Ethan met up with Kristina at the Metro Court Gardens to get her advice on his blunder with Ric and Sonny, and he kept staring across the restaurant at Brook Lynn, Chase and baby Phoebe. Ethan and Kristina strolled over, and Brook Lynn let Kristina hold Phoebe. Back at their table, Kristina told Ethan about the baby she lost and the role Ava played in it.

Alexis advised Brook Lynn and Chase about petitioning to adopt the baby, saying they should prepare for background checks and warning that if there was anything they didn’t want exposed, they should call things off now. Brook Lynn squirmed as Chase confidently stated that they had nothing to hide.

Back at their table, Kristina told Ethan about the accident with Ava and losing Adela. Commenting that losing a child had to be one of the hardest things a person could go through, Ethan’s gaze drifted back over to Phoebe. He asked Kristina if she thought Phoebe would be happy with Brook Lynn and Chase.
Stay Away
Willow wasn’t happy to see that Nina was at G.H. waiting for an update on Jack. She reminded her mom that she has no official connection to Jack and was only drawing suspicion by being there, but Nina was worried that when Jack woke up, he’d rat her out for being the one who injected him — and/or the hospital would compare his “stroke” symptoms to Drew’s. Announcing that she wasn’t going to risk her family’s future on Jack not remembering what happened to him, Willow took off to see Sidwell.

Who’s The Boss
Lucas found Sidwell in the Wyndemere study, looking at photos of Marco. Sidwell noted how he was haunted by the theory that Marco knew his assailant well enough to let the person close enough to stab him. Knowing that the killer was likely Cullum, Lucas swallowed his rage toward Sidwell and agreed that it was terrible that Marco trusted someone who’d hurt him so badly.
Later, Willow arrived to see Jenz. Sidwell blew up when Willow explained that Jack had accidentally been dosed with Drew’s medicine, leaving Nina’s name out of it. She suggested they stop drugging Drew so the attention would be on his recovery and not the coincidence of two men having “strokes” at her house. Since drugging Drew had been Sidwell’s idea in the first place, she proclaimed that he needed to figure out a way to make sure Drew didn’t expose them. Jenz reminded Willow that he was the one who gave the orders, not her. And if they were exposed, he added, she had the most to lose.

While You Were Sleeping
At the hospital, Cullum questioned a frazzled Nina about Jack’s medical crisis. She spun a tale about the incident and then, when she saw Lucas walking to the hub, redirected Cullum to speak with the doctor so she could avoid answering further questions. Approaching Lucas, Cullum presented documents that named him as Jack’s medical proxy, so Dr. Jones shared a frosty update that Jack was stable. Britt, who’d been skulking around the hallway, managed to get Lucas away from the WSB Director and chastised him about being too obvious about his disdain for Marco’s likely killer, warning him that Cullum might get suspicious. Lucas hissed that they should just tell Sidwell that Cullum stabbed Marco and let the two men destroy each other, but dropped the idea because Britt relies on Cullum to get her medication. He warned Britt that everything would explode once Jenz found out that Cullum was Marco’s killer, so they had to be sure Cullum was the culprit.

In Jack’s room, Cullum informed the unconscious agent that the stroke may have saved his life because he’d been about to kill him. Nina also visited Jack to apologize and begged him to wake up.
Photo Finish
Jacinda was in Michael’s office when private investigator Elaine arrived to deliver the surveillance photos she’d taken of Chase and Willow in the park. After seeing a picture that captured the former couple in a hug, Michael told Elaine he needed something more compromising. After Elaine left, Michael explained to Jacinda his plan to use Chase to bring down Willow. Just as Jacinda was about to leave, Willow barged into Michael’s office — and the damning photos of her and Chase were still laid out on his desk….

Status Quo
At Wyndemere, Sidwell informed Cullum that Brennan had been dosed with Drew’s medication. When Sidwell opined that things would get more complicated once Jack came out of his locked-in state, Cullum declared, “Then he can’t come out of it.”

Will Sidwell agree to keep Jack locked in? Is Willow going to catch on to Michael’s scheme? Should Brook Lynn come clean with Chase and call off the adoption? Share your theories about what will happen next on GH in the comments below!
