General Hospital Recap: (Spoiler) Collapses, Drew Plays Dirty, Willow Gets New Hope and More
Things took an upsetting turn in the November 10 episode of General Hospital! Drew (Cameron Mathison) betrayed the Quartermaines again and abandoned Ned (Wally Kurth) during a health crisis, Nina (Cynthia Watros) came up with a new plan to use Jacinda (Paige Herschell) against Michael (Rory Gibson), Portia (Brook Kerr) swore Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson) to secrecy, Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Justine (Nazneen Contractor) shared another close moment, Chase (Josh Swickard) gave Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) hope for the future as Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) worried about what would become of her husband, and more. Here are all the details:
Damsel in Distress
At Sonny’s, Michael marveled that the holidays were already upon them and noted that Willow could be convicted by Christmas. Sonny warned his son that his attitude towards Willow made him look vindictive, and the best outcome was for Willow to be acquitted. Michael reminded his father that he would be the next suspect in line and again expressed that he didn’t want Willow back in his children’s lives. Sonny insisted Michael would be fine and declared, “We have to make this go away now.” Then Donna rushed in to ask Michael to help them make paper turkeys for the soup kitchen, but he explained he had to go.
Later, Justine knocked on Sonny’s door, covered in grease after failing to change a tire. She explained that while trying to fix it herself, she’d smashed her phone and hoped Sonny could help. He assured her she didn’t have to call roadside assistance, as he owns a fleet of tow trucks. “Of course you do,” she responded with a knowing smile. Sonny called in a favor and said he’d drive her back to her car when it was fixed. After Donna ran off to get something to eat, Justine apologized for showing up with his daughter around, and they shared a close moment as Sonny gently wiped grease off her cheek. But then, Donna interrupted, returning with milk and cookies, and Justine smiled at Sonny as she took a bite of the treat.

Silence Is Golden
At the hospital, Portia told Isaiah she was excited about the groundbreaking transplant procedure that he would soon be doing at the hospital. Felicia interrupted to ask on behalf of Willow’s lawyer if Portia had seen the nurse in the hospital the night of Drew’s shooting. The doctor flashed back to having sex with Isaiah that night, then lied that she’d been hard at work in her office at the time of the crime and didn’t see Willow.
Later, Isaiah wondered why she lied about where she was that night and suggested they should clear things up with the cops. Portia reminded him that no one could know about their affair, and he agreed it would jeopardize their jobs. He was eager to get back to the cabin, and she smiled awkwardly as he embraced her from behind. Meanwhile, Felicia checked the hospital computer to see if Portia was on call that night. Noting that her shift had ended at 8 p.m., Felicia wondered where she really had been that evening.

In Too Deep
Chase visited Willow at Pentonville, and when he shared a photo of one of Amelia’s drawings, she lamented missing her daughter growing up before thanking him for his support and taking his hands in hers. Alexis arrived and reminded Chase about the rules regarding physical contact before reporting that she had petitioned for another bail hearing and was optimistic they could get Willow out of prison. Chase revealed he’d made some progress on her case, and Alexis was surprised he was investigating on his own, but appreciated the help. Chase said that he was looking into Michael’s alibi, Jacinda, and explained that if Michael had been at Drew’s on that fateful night, then Jacinda might have been with another client, and if he could find that person, their alibi goes up in smoke. Willow was grateful to Chase for everything, and he urged her to stay strong while they cleared her name. After he left, Willow told Alexis she finally had hope for the first time in ages, but Alexis explained that they had to find more suspects beyond just Michael. At that moment, Felicia called Alexis to report that Portia wasn’t where she said she was the night of Drew’s shooting.
Dante arrived at the Quartermaines at Brook Lynn’s request so she could talk to him about her fears that Chase trying to save Willow would get him dragged down with her. Dante understood it was a sticky situation, but insisted that Chase was a good cop. Brook Lynn expressed her concerns about Michael, recalling how cold he was after Willow was arrested, and wondered if he shot Drew. Dante wasn’t sure, but had no problem believing his brother could have framed Willow for the crime. He added that he’d spoken to Chase about not letting his feelings for Willow interfere with the investigation, but Brook Lynn worried it could cost him his job. She could tell he wasn’t telling her something, and Dante admitted that Chase had been to see Willow three times since she was locked up. Chase joined them, and Dante excused himself so they could talk. Brook Lynn just came right out and asked if he was working to free Willow.

What a Tangled Web
Drew arrived at Crimson and was surprised to see Jacinda working there. He immediately began threatening her with prison until Nina emerged from her office to cut off his latest rant. She invited him into her office so he could talk to her and stop badgering her assistant. Drew explained that Willow had another bail hearing, and they needed to point the finger at Michael, so her new assistant — his alibi — had to go. Nina admitted that she had also wanted to get her out of town at first, but realized that having Jacinda around could be helpful because Michael could never publicly be with an escort around his kids, and if she could set up a situation where he is forced to deny the relationship, it would destroy his alibi, putting him in the frame and helping Willow go free. On his way out, Drew tried to warn Jacinda that she was in way over her head, and didn’t think it was fair of Michael to use her this way.
Nina asked Jacinda to contact Michael and tell him she needs to speak to him face to face. When Michael arrived, he asked Jacinda out to dinner before heading in to see her boss. Nina complained that she hadn’t seen her grandkids in a while and was prepared to go to court, but Michael surprised her by saying had no problem with arranging a visit. Nina worried there was a catch, and he simply said that there would be some ground rules regarding what she could tell them regarding Willow. Nina agreed and thanked him, and on his way out, spied on him and Jacinda kissing after she accepted his dinner invite.

Man Down
Gio entered Bobbie’s, where Emma admired his all-black heist ensemble but frowned that they wouldn’t be breaking into Dalton’s lab tonight because she wasn’t able to get Britt’s key. Gio urged her not to give up, and after she confided that there was another option, he was confident that Charlotte and Rocco would come through for them. Emma gave him a quick kiss, then left to change into her own heist outfit. Ned popped in and thanked Gio for helping change Tracy’s mind while also mentioning having problems with the movers getting the boxes out of Lulu’s house and back into the mansion.
As he left, Ned told his grandson not to be a stranger and that everyone would love to see him at the Q’s. Emma returned and lamented that neither of them had heard from Rocco or Charlotte. She asked how things went with his grandfather, and Gio said it had been good, and he hadn’t tried to pressure him or anything. Outside, Ned was on the phone with the movers, complaining that they’d lost the boxes. “Oh, they’re not lost,” Drew announced as he walked up. “Those boxes are filled with valuable family heirlooms, and they’re exactly where they should be.” Ned was furious that Drew had stolen the family’s possessions and complained that he had no emotional connection to any of those items. As he raged at Drew, Ned suddenly grabbed his chest and fell forward onto a chair. Drew chided Ned for trying to fake a heart attack and walked off as Ned fell onto the ground alone, gasping for breath.

Is Ned really having a heart attack? Will Nina’s plan to destroy Michael’s alibi bear fruit? Might Chase’s determination to prove Willow’s innocence damage his marriage to Brook Lynn? Share your GH predictions and opinions in the comments below!
