General Hospital Recap: Jack Offers Alexis Dirt on Drew — But Wants Something in Return
On General Hospital on Friday, August 14, Jason (Steve Burton) opened up to Carly (Laura Wright), Michael (Rory Gibson) stunned Tracy (Jane Elliot) with his request, Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) ) received an intriguing offer from Jack (Chris McKenna), Danny (Asher Antonyzyn) and Charlotte (Bluesy Burke) set a plan in motion to play dirty against Drew (Cameron Mathison), Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Justine (Nazneen Contractor) revisited the terms of their relationship, and more. Here’s how it all went down.
Information Exchange
At the Metro Court Gardens, Drew turned Alexis down when she requested that he allow Scout to spend time with Sam’s family. Desperate to get him to relent, Alexis pointed out that Drew had needed the Davis women’s help with Scout while he was incapacitated, but Drew snapped back that Scout had gotten injured following Danny’s bad example. He accused Alexis of filling Scout’s head with dangerous lies about him, snarling that it was clear Alexis couldn’t stand him, so why would he let her anywhere near Scout again?
Jack arrived in time to hear Alexis beg Drew to do the right thing for Scout — and Drew retort that keeping Scout away was in his daughter’s best interest. Jack intervened and insinuated that he had dirt on Drew, commenting that unless the ex-congressman had a clean record from his time in office, it would be wise not to step on anyone’s toes.

After Drew backed off and left, Jack proposed a deal to Alexis: He’d share what he knew about Drew in exchange for information on Jasper Jacks Enterprises.
Playing Dirty
While hanging out at the Quartermaine boathouse, Danny shared his frustrations with Charlotte that Drew still wouldn’t let him see Scout. Charlotte encouraged him to fight dirty by making up something damning about Drew. Danny was hesitant, however, knowing it would hurt his sister. When Charlotte pointed out that Drew was hurting Scout by isolating her from her family, Danny decided he did need to find something to use against Drew. “And it’s gonna have to make him look really bad,” Charlotte affirmed.

New Directions
Jason told Carly that wasn’t working for Sonny anymore, noting that his time in Jakarta made him realize he needed to make his son his priority, and he could no longer justify the risks he used to take now that he was Danny’s only parent. Having seen Jason struggle to balance his work and fatherhood, Carly assured her friend that he’d made the right decision. Carly acknowledged how difficult it must be, considering his loyalty to Sonny, prompting Jason to apologize for the times that his loyalty to Sonny had trumped his loyalty to her.
As they discussed what Jason would do next, Carly suggested he work for the Quartermaines at ELQ. Carly also wondered what Britt thought of his decision, and Jason revealed he hadn’t told her yet. At the end of their conversation, the best friends vowed that nothing would change between them despite Jason’s resignation from Sonny’s organization.

Secret Lovers
At the apartment above Charlie’s, a worried Justine asked if Sonny planned to have Sidwell killed while in Pentonville. Sonny replied that he was now a legitimate coffee importer and planned to expand his businesses by buying back his piers once they went up for auction. Justine warned that it might not be an easy switch: The statute of limitations has not run out on some of Sonny’s past crimes, and it never runs out on murder.

Talk turned to their relationship, and Sonny questioned if Justine had a problem being seen with him in public. She admitted that she had feelings for him, but still felt they couldn’t go public because if the D.A.’s office brought a case against Sonny, it would compromise her career. After agreeing to continue keeping their relationship a secret, the pair shared a heated kiss.
Keep Your Enemies Close
Michael asked for Tracy’s permission for Willow to move into the gatehouse, which she quickly denied. Michael explained that he had info on Willow that she didn’t want to get out. By putting her in the gatehouse, he could keep tabs on her, and she could still have a relationship with the kids. Tracy fretted that having Willow on the property might cause issues for Brook Lynn and Chase. Further pleading his case, Michael implored Tracy to help him save his family, and she finally gave in.

Sneaking Around
Rocco switched shifts with Danny so Scout could practice at the Metro Court pool. Scout feared that Drew might stop her and Rocco from hanging out next because of who Rocco’s grandfather was. She frowned that her life was easier when her dad was in a wheelchair, because while she loved spending time with her mom’s family, she felt torn because of the way her dad felt about them and his need to know that she was safe.

Not wanting to complicate things for her, Rocco offered to keep his distance, but Scout told him that he was the only person she could talk to. In order for them to hang out without Drew knowing, Rocco suggested that Scout make up a lie about needing to be alone, and he’d do the same with his parents.
Change of Scenery
As Molly cleaned up a bite that Cody got from Tracy’s horse, Hades, Cody mused that the horse had been extra grumpy since James left. When Cody admitted that he was missing James, too, Molly had an idea to get his mind off things: They should go to Savannah to attend a romance convention she’d been invited to, to promote her book.

Will Alexis share Jax’s secrets with Jack to get evidence against Drew? What lie do you think Danny and Charlotte will make up about Drew? Should Tracy have held her ground about not letting Willow move into the gatehouse?
