General Hospital Recap: Jack Offers Willow Dirt on Drew as Cassius Helps Sidwell Escape
The Wednesday, June 10, episode of General Hospital ended with a potential partnership, a rescue mission, and another fugitive on the run! Lucas (Van Hansis) put his life in danger to take down Sidwell (Carlo Rota) only for Cassius (Ryan Paevey) to help his partner escape; Carly (Laura Wright) and Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) suspected that Josslyn (Eden McCoy) was being held hostage at Wyndemere; Jack (Chris McKenna) offered a barter to Nina (Cynthia Watros) and Willow (Katelyn MacMullen); Portia (Brook Kerr) and Curtis’s (Donnell Turner) fight at the baby shower was an eye-opener for Trina (Tabyana Ali); and Tracy (Jane Elliot) gave Lulu (Alexa Havins) some maternal support. Keep on reading for the run-down.
Escape Artist
Immediately after Sidwell shot Lucas three times in the chest, Dante and Joe emerged from behind the building and arrested Jenz for attempted murder. Lucas revealed that he’d been wearing a bulletproof vest and Laura and Sonny appeared, and Sidwell realized that they had been in cahoots with the PCPD to catch him in an illegal act.
A handcuffed Sidwell demanded that Dante arrest Sonny and Laura for the murder of Professor Dalton, but when Dante asked for evidence, Sidwell reluctantly admitted that he no longer had the proof because it had been taken by his houseguest, Lucas. “Nathan” arrived on the scene, and Sidwell declared that they’d put something unstoppable in motion by railroading him — a vague statement that Cassius seemed to understand the meaning behind. Dante then instructed “Nathan” to take Sidwell to the PCPD for booking.

At Laura’s insistence, Lucas agreed to let Joe take him to G.H. to be examined. At the hospital, Joe questioned if putting himself in danger of being killed had been worth the risk, and Lucas declared it had been worth it for Marco. Once Lucas was taken into an exam room, Joe seemed puzzled.
Meanwhile, Cassius pulled over en route to the PCPD and told Sidwell that he couldn’t protect him from an attempted murder charge. He encouraged Jenz to back out of the project and leave the country, but Sidwell noted that he had several contingency plans lined up to protect himself, so it wouldn’t be that easy for Cassius to free himself and his family from the arrangement they had with Cullum. The men then orchestrated Sidwell’s escape.
Back at the “crime scene,” Dante told Sonny and Laura that he was glad their plan worked out after Lucas risked his life to provoke Sidwell. But when the commissioner then asked about Henry Dalton, Sonny and Laura played dumb. Dante then got a call from “Nathan,” who claimed that he’d been jumped by Sidwell’s men, and while he was knocked out, Sidwell had escaped.

Rescue Mission
Carly and Valentin speculated that Josslyn was being held captive at Wyndemere by Cullum and Sidwell. Carly was determined to search Spoon Island for her daughter, but Valentin urged her to be strategic about extracting Josslyn and not go storming the castle. Despite Valentin’s offer to search Wyndemere himself, Carly insisted that she take advantage of Sidwell’s open-door invitation and be the one to rescue her daughter.

Let’s Make A Deal
Just as Willow was about to inject Jack with the paralytic, he reached up and grabbed her hand and begged her not to do it. He revealed that Nina hadn’t been drugging him just as Nina herself entered the room. As Willow whisper-shouted at her mother about not continuing to drug Jack, he revealed that he had leverage Willow could use against Drew. He explained that Drew misappropriated federal funds by using money from the McConkey Esplanade to finance his campaign and that as long as Willow supported him, he’d provide the evidence once he was fully recovered. In the meantime, he wanted to let Cullum and Sidwell believe he was fully paralyzed, giving him the cover he needed.
Although relieved to have information to neutralize Drew, Willow worried that someone would discover she’d been drugging her husband if it went on much longer. Jack figured she’d only have to give Drew one or two more doses, and Nina encouraged her daughter to go along with Jack’s plan.

Mad About You
After the shower wrapped up, Curtis and Portia got into an argument about her support of Isaiah. Having reached the breaking point with her parents’ drama, Trina exited without saying good-bye. Disgusted by the fighting, Stella ripped into Curtis and Portia for not finding a way to rise above their differences for the sake of the baby and Trina. Curtis declared that his problem wasn’t with Portia, but with Isaiah, who’d left him and Jordan to die.
Jordan also joined in on the accusations against Isaiah, recounting how Curtis had to pull her from the wreckage before the car exploded. Declaring his innocence, Isaiah professed that he’d tried to keep the peace with Curtis, but now his career might be over because of the other man’s actions. Standing in support of Isaiah, Portia informed Curtis not to contact her, and she’d keep him apprised of appointments through her doctors.

Later, Aunt Stella told Curtis that she was disappointed in the way he’d been acting over the past few months and called him out for making an already challenging situation worse with his behavior at the shower. She sniffed that she wouldn’t be surprised if they called their lawyer to go after him in court. After Stella left, Jordan huffed to Curtis that it had been a low blow for Portia to say that she’d been right to keep him out of Trina’s life and that the baby would be better off without him as a dad. Professing that he’d be a fantastic father, Jordan vowed she’d back him all the way.
Me, Myself, And I
Joining Kai, Emma, and Gio at the boathouse, Trina vented about how she’d tried to make the baby shower a special day for her parents, but they ruined it by getting into a fight. She told her friends that she no longer wanted to be a part of her parents’ drama and was committed to making herself a priority. With her friends’ support, Trina declared she was going to focus on the music showcase.

Family Therapy
Tracy checked in on Lulu and offered to use one of her many private investigators to find Rocco and Britt. Lulu declined, stating that she couldn’t share details but worried that her son would be in more danger if he were found by other people who wanted him dead. Lulu bemoaned that she’d let her son down because Rocco had turned to Britt, but Tracy mused that he was following the example Lulu set for him by helping someone in need. Lulu thanked Tracy for being “the best stepmonster” she could have asked for and for never letting her down.
