Keep on reading for all the details!
Head Case
Lulu brought James to the hospital after he’d hit his head skating too fast while hanging out with the Falconeri kids. Just as she was about to call his dad, Nathan came around the corner, having received a call from Charlotte’s police escort about the accident. Isaiah then approached the trio and took James for X-rays. While Lulu and Nathan waited in an exam room, she apologized profusely for James getting hurt on her watch, but Nathan reassured her that he didn’t blame her for the accident since James had a wild streak. Plus, with Maxie away, he added, he appreciated her relationship with James. Lulu replied that Maxie had taken such good care of her when she was in her coma, and she’d do anything to repay that.

Next, Nathan asked for Lulu’s input as to how to rein in James’s reckless behavior without crushing his adventurous spirit, and Lulu advised him to set boundaries with his son. Once James returned to the exam room, Nathan had a chat with him about actions and consequences (taking away riding lessons with Cody for three weeks as punishment) and made him apologize to Lulu.
Hot And Heavy
Emma answered the door for Gio wearing a bikini, because the thermostat was stuck. Since she was waiting for the maintenance crew to finish fixing the heat and couldn’t leave, Gio stuck around in the hot apartment to hang out with his girlfriend. Emma shared how worried she was about her grandmother’s extended absence and how lonely she’d been feeling lately, and Gio promised that she’d always have him by her side. Leaning into the high temperature of the apartment, Gio and Emma made their date a tropical theme, then turned up the temperature even more when they made love for the first time.

The Peacemaker
At the mayor’s office, Martin updated Laura about the latest incident with Tracy and that he’d let the defense know about the conversation he overheard between the Quartermaine matriarch and Michael. Declaring that she could no longer handle the fighting, Laura told her brother that he had to deal with Tracy head-on.
Meanwhile, at the Quartermaine house, Tracy asked Chase if he was cheating on Brook Lynn with Willow, accusing him of acting inappropriately with his independent investigation. She warned her grandson-in-law that he needed to put an end to his loyalty to Willow before it negatively impacted his marriage, and Chase shouted back that while he had put Willow above his career, it was ridiculous to insinuate that he would ever cheat on his wife. Overhearing their argument, Brook Lynn entered the den and, once Chase filled her in on Tracy’s accusations, she told her grandmother she was out of line. Tracy then got a call from Laura, who wanted to see her at the mayor’s office.

Immediately upon Tracy’s arrival, she and Martin began exchanging barbs with one another. But they were both speechless when a frustrated Laura declared that she wanted Tracy to move forward with the fraud charges against Martin so the threats and borderline blackmail would end. Quietly, Tracy conceded that doing so would mean Ronnie would be prosecuted, and her family would never forgive her for that, but she got snarky again when she declared she’d handle Martin in her own way. Still trying to broker peace between the two, Laura begged Tracy to find a way to get along with Martin because she needed her friend in her life and didn’t want to be stuck in the middle of their fighting anymore. Although Tracy agreed to a truce, she warned Martin that if he ever crossed her family again, she would go after him with a wrath so fierce that not even her love for Laura would stop it. Dropping one last shot, Tracy proclaimed that having Laura for a sister was the best thing that ever happened to Martin, then exited. Alone with Laura, Martin professed he was aware how lucky he was, and she replied that, as much as she loved him, if he went after Tracy again, she wouldn’t lift a finger to help him.
Fight Club
Back at the Quartermaines’, Chase fumed to Brook Lynn that he couldn’t believe Tracy accused him of cheating because he’d never even think about being unfaithful. Admitting that she didn’t think her grandmother was wrong, Brook Lynn told her husband that she trusted him, but he was blind to the fact that Willow was taking advantage of him. Hurt by his wife’s statement, Chase roared that he couldn’t stand by knowing Willow was innocent and that he had no tolerance for injustice. Countering that Willow wasn’t his responsibility, Brook Lynn begged Chase not to lose himself in defending his ex. Promising not to let anything or anyone come between them, Chase told his wife that she was the most important thing in his life, and Brook Lynn replied that he was her safe place. Grateful that they could be honest with one another and have difficult conversations, Brook Lynn and Chase reaffirmed their love for each other, then kissed and made up.

Heated Rivalry
Catching up at the Throwing Club, Carly and Josslyn both skated around what they’d really been up to in life lately. When Jason showed up with Britt, Carly was less than thrilled to see her best friend on a date with the doctor. After assuring Britt that Carly’s opinion didn’t matter, Jason had a one-on-one conversation with his best friend and told Carly that who he spent time with was none of her business. Carly cried that Britt wasn’t “safe” for him, and if he got hurt rescuing her from whatever danger she was involved in, Danny would lose the one parent he had left. When Jason stated that Britt was complicated but a good person, Carly argued that she’d seen that when the doctor saved Josslyn’s life, but something was going on, and she was reverting to the old Britt. Eventually, Carly agreed to leave Britt alone for the night.
Meanwhile, at a table, Britt snarked to Josslyn that nobody was good enough for Jason except for Carly and jokingly asked Joss to muzzle her mother. When Josslyn questioned why she should do anything for her, Britt threatened to tell Carly that her daughter was a WSB agent, so Joss agreed to referee. Britt then asked where Vaughn was, prompting Joss to explain that he’d been reassigned since Jack Brennan always got what he wanted.

Spy Games
Returning to her table with Josslyn, Carly expressed to her daughter that she wanted Jason to be happy, but Britt was a wild card and bad news. Joss wondered if, because Jason had been right about Jack, Carly wanted to be right about Britt. Carly insisted she and Jack had worked through their issues and now that things were back on track, Jack wouldn’t lie to her again. Joss tossed out that spies lied all the time, leading Carly to ask how Josslyn knew so much about spies.
Joss reminded her mom that she’d dated a spy, and Vaughn had once told her that even though he didn’t want to lie, the truth wasn’t his to share anymore. At first, she thought he didn’t care about her, Joss added, but she realized that how much it killed him to lie to her proved how much he really cared. Circling back to her relationship with Jack, Carly confided that Joss didn’t have to worry about her with Jack, because she knew exactly who he was.
Across the bar, Jason and Britt flirted during their friendly axe-throwing competition, and she wagered a kiss to the winner of the next round. Giddy when she won, Britt laughed that she’d let Jason know when she was ready to collect her kiss. Britt went to get them fresh drinks at the bar, and Jason threw an axe and hit the bullseye, having thrown the game to let Britt win.

Who’s The Boss
Jack’s boss, WBS Director Cullum, informed him that Anna had vanished while on her WSB mission researching Faison’s project. When Jack offered to track Anna down, Cullum said that the evidence indicated she hadn’t been captured but had taken off willingly. Jack thought that was odd, since Anna would never leave her granddaughter Emma behind, but Cullum replied that Devane didn’t think rationally where Faison was involved. Next, Jack asked what evidence the WSB had that Anna was gone, and Cullum explained that the photo Jack had asked him to investigate (aka the one Anna sent to Emma at Christmas) was a fake.
Declaring Devane a dead end, Cullum told Jack that it was time to refocus: Since Jack hadn’t been transparent about his field work with the higher-ups, Cullum had been sent to Port Charles to “correct” things and find out what Brennan knew about Faison’s network in the city. Jack explained that he’d learned Faison’s project was linked to Jenz Sidwell and an unidentified partner; a missing professor who had been involved in the research; and the resurfacing of Faison’s two presumed-dead children. Claiming to be unsatisfied with “theories” and not results, Cullum accused Jack of withholding information and demanded to know if he had assets on Spoon Island. Respectfully declining to answer, Jack told his boss that he was being cautious about leaks within the mission, especially after Agent Moreau’s treason, and he would not divulge that information. Then he told Callum to find Devane, and he’d focus on Spoon Island.
