Giovanni Mazza

Giovanni Mazza

Illinois native Giovanni Mazza began playing the violin when he was 3 years old — and by the age of 9, he was performing in the halftime show for the Chicago Bulls. Before long, the rising star was playing violin in sports arenas across the country, charming basketball fans (and NBA players!) with his energetic performances. Around this time, inspired by his uncle, Brian Chester’s, guest gig on Grey’s Anatomy, the acting bug hit as well, and he began training in earnest when he was 16. In 2024, Mazza moved to Los Angeles, and a mere two weeks later, he auditioned for General Hospital, landing the contract role of Gio Palmieri, the surprise son of Dante Falconeri and Brook Lynn Quartermaine. He has also appeared on Chicago Fire and Bella and the Bulldogs.
