Keep reading to see how it all unfolded.
Stay In Your Lane
Elizabeth caught Britt on the phone with the car dealership, checking on the status of her application, then chastised her for using work time to take care of personal business. While Britt gloated that she’d only made the phone call because she was ahead on her administrative tasks, Elizabeth, reviewing Britt’s tablet, noticed that she’d missed giving the maintenance team their schedules. When Britt insisted she had her workload under control, Liz replied that she was far too busy to micromanage her. Then, Britt ticked off all the reasons why she was in a good mood — including her dinner with Rocco — and how she wasn’t going to let Elizabeth bring her down, but her bubble burst when Nathan arrived to talk about Rocco. Britt tried to brush him off because she was at work, but Liz gave her the okay to speak with her brother. Liz commented that it was a mystery how kind, thoughtful Nathan ended up with a sister like Britt before leaving the hub.
Once they were alone, Nathan shared with Britt how he’d been with Lulu, who had been unaware that Rocco had dinner with Nathan, Britt and Liesl while she was out of town. Britt wondered why that was a problem, prompting Nathan to remind her that the dinner was originally him and their mother, but then she’d joined in when they ran into her at the Metro Court. As Liz (who was back at the hub) eavesdropped, Britt complained when Nathan defended Lulu, and he warned his sister that if she truly wanted what was best for the teen, she couldn’t undermine Rocco’s mother. Then he added that he knows how Lulu feels; he is James’s father, not Spinelli, and it was important the relationship isn’t interfered with. Britt didn’t understand what the big deal was with Rocco getting to know her, and Nathan pointed out that not only does Lulu have valid reasons not to trust her, but she also had ties to dangerous people. “Okay, so if Ben … Rocco … reaches out to me, I’m supposed to turn him away?” Britt huffed. “Yes,” Nathan confirmed as he walked away.

Conflict of Interest
Lulu called Dante over to discuss Rocco’s dinner with Obrecht and her offspring. Angry that Rocco hid the get-together from both of his parents, Dante wanted to punish their son for lying to them. However, Lulu hoped to create an environment where their son could come to them, realizing that he hadn’t told them about the dinner because he didn’t want to hurt her feelings. Rocco and Charlotte came downstairs, and Dante gave his son the third degree about where he’d been the other night. Trying to divert attention from her brother, Charlotte jumped in to tell Dante how great it was seeing her dad in Switzerland, but the detective steered the conversation back to Rocco. Again, Charlotte jumped in, claiming that Rocco had been helping Cody clean out the stables. Rocco looked uncomfortable when Dante suggested they call Cody for compensation, then tried to cover that he didn’t mind helping Cody since Outback was there. Making another attempt to sidetrack, Charlotte “reminded” Rocco that they had to organize Tracy’s boxes on the front porch, and the teens went outside.

Lulu was annoyed that Dante didn’t handle things her way, but he joked that, thanks to his detective skills, he almost got Rocco to crack. Lulu wasn’t sure if she should ground Charlotte for lying or be proud of her for protecting her brother, and wondered what steps they should take next. Revealing that they should probably do a bit of both since the kids were possibly playing with danger, Dante filled Lulu in on Anna’s theory that Britt and Nathan’s returns might be tied to Faison. That news understandably had Lulu worried.
Out on the porch, Rocco thanked Charlotte for saving him. She informed him that since their parents knew they were lying, he needed to admit to the dinner so they could deflect Lulu and Dante’s attention from what they really didn’t want them to know about (their plan to help Emma and Gio with Professor Dalton).
Pay Day
On her first day as Nina’s assistant at Crimson, Jacinda was offered money by her new boss to undercut Michael’s alibi. But before Jacinda could answer, Drew arrived. When he accused Nina of paying Jacinda to drug someone else, Nina coolly replied that she was paying Jacinda to save her daughter’s life. Slipping the check into her purse, Jacinda left the office — but not before Drew dropped a jab about her dipping into extortion, which came with serious jail time. Nina explained her reasons for recanting her alibi, and how she’d paid Jacinda to flip on Michael so they could clear Willow’s name. In agreement with Nina that Michael had framed Willow, Drew shared how he was planning to purchase the Quartermaine estate as a way to distract his nephew. The move would make Michael so angry, Drew mused, he’d lash out, proving to everyone that he was reckless enough to have been the shooter.

Two Guys And A Girl
Portia invited Ava to the Metro Court, where she revealed her major life updates: she and Curtis were divorcing, she was pregnant, and she wasn’t sure who the father was. Portia explained how she and Curtis had never really moved past the fact that she’d lied about Trina’s parentage for so many years, and breaking up seemed inevitable. After Ava mused that Drew’s blackmail likely didn’t help their struggling marriage, Portia complained about how Jordan was always a constant presence. When Ava asked who the other person involved was, Portia smiled as she explained that, while Jordan was entertaining Curtis, she’d met someone who made her feel seen and supported her: Dr. Isaiah Gannon. “Oh, it’s everything HR warns us about,” she quipped. Portia added that either man could be the father, and even though her marriage was over when she slept with Isaiah, she worried that Trina might never forgive her if she was indeed pregnant with another man’s baby.

Next, Portia revealed that she planned to keep her pregnancy to herself until she was through her first trimester and could get a DNA test done — if Jordan, who suspected she was pregnant, didn’t tell Curtis first. Ava countered that if Jordan wanted Curtis back, the last thing she’d do is tell him about the baby. Once she knew who the father was, Portia said, she’d figure out what that meant for her family. Besides, she didn’t even know if Isaiah wanted to be a father. Knowing that Trina was going to be devastated no matter what happened, Portia asked Ava to be there to support her daughter, and Ava offered to be a support system for Portia as well.
Let’s Make A Deal
Jacinda called Michael to meet her at the Metro Court, and once he got there, she showed him the check from Nina. Michael assumed the payment was for Jacinda to disappear, but Jacinda revealed that Nina wanted her to destroy Michael’s alibi. He offered to double Nina’s payment if Jacinda stayed in town. Then, he observed that there was more to Jacinda than met the eye, mentioning that the first woman he ever loved (Abby Haver) was an escort who’d taught him not to make assumptions about who she was based on what she did for a living. Circling back to their predicament, Michael noted that he and Nina could continue to up the ante to gain Jacinda’s loyalty, but he didn’t think she could be bought. He added that they had to want to work together to protect one another, and even though he had the money, she was the one who held the power between them. Acknowledging that she was a commodity to Nina, but believed that he was considering what was best for both of them, Jacinda told Michael that she would stick with him.

Spotting Michael and Jacinda across the restaurant, Ava called Nina and lured her upstairs to the bar with the tease of interesting people watching. Nina rushed from her office to the restaurant level, and when she stepped off the elevator, Ava nodded to Michael and Jacinda, who were toasting their renewed partnership.
Reality Check
Trying to track down Portia, Curtis went to G.H. and encountered Isaiah instead. Isaiah offered to relay a message to Portia, which Curtis didn’t appreciate. Isaiah wished Curtis good luck finding his wife before walking away, leaving Curtis to shake his head incredulously. Then, he ran into Laura, who was picking up a prescription for Ace, and pulled his friend aside for a private chat. Curtis filled Laura in on his marriage ending and how Jordan suspected that Portia was pregnant. Laura pointed out that Curtis’s connection with Jordan may have played a part in the breakdown of his marriage. Sighing, he acknowledged that all they could do was move forward with honesty, especially if Portia was pregnant. When Laura questioned what a baby would mean for his family, Curtis wasn’t sure if it would change things with Portia, but he was sure he wanted the baby and didn’t want her to terminate the pregnancy. Laura advised him not to reconcile just because of the baby and to do some soul-searching. Then, Curtis wondered if what he wanted was impossible. “In a perfect world, of course, I want my baby, but I’d have Jordan, too,” he professed.

Returning to his cabin, Isaiah was disappointed to find that Portia was gone. Meanwhile, she returned to her office after meeting with Ava when Isaiah called, wanting to know why she’d left the cabin. Portia promised to head back as soon as she finished up some paperwork, but before she could get to her files, Curtis arrived and demanded to know if she was pregnant!
Out Of House And Home
Ronnie shocked Michael, Ned, Olivia, and Tracy with her announcement that she was selling the estate, claiming it was too big for her to handle and she wasn’t used to living with so many people. Ned and Olivia tried to defuse another round of bickering between Tracy and Ronnie by relaying how important the house was to the family. When Tracy suggested that Ronnie sell the house to Michael, he jumped in and offered to match whatever price she was looking for so the house stayed in the family. But Ronnie turned him down, further shocking the group by revealing that she already had a buyer. Michael excused himself to take a phone call in the foyer, and back in the living room, Ned and Olivia named Tracy and her horrible behavior as the reason Ronnie wanted to unload the house. Ned suggested Tracy could live elsewhere, but Ronnie insisted that the house was hers to do with what she wanted since Monica gave it to her, and she received a very good offer that made her compelled to sell. Just as Tracy demanded to know who the buyer was, Drew entered and announced that it was him!

When Drew gloated that the house was staying in the family, but they’d all have to move out, Olivia and Ned begged Ronnie to reconsider. As a smug Drew explained that he’d shared his side of the story with Ronnie and they’d bonded as outsiders, Tracy noticed how uncomfortable Ronnie looked. Next, Ronnie shouted that they weren’t her family, and she didn’t want to be part of their petty squabbles and power plays. Tracy then called Ronnie out for abdicating the honor her sister had bestowed on her. Growing emotional, Tracy bellowed that Monica always kept the house in the family, and Ronnie gave it up in a matter of weeks. “You dishonor Monica and everything she stood for. Shame on you!” Tracy cried before storming out.
