Family Feud
At the Quartermaine mansion, after Drew insisted that Danny be arrested for taking Scout from camp, Jason asked his son to wait in the other room. When Drew threatened to have Chase arrest Jason as well, Alexis stepped in to try and calm things down, assuring Drew that Scout was fine and there was no reason to punish Danny. “Your grandson broke the law, and he’s got to know there’s consequences for that,” Drew growled. “We all know his criminal father isn’t going to teach that to him.” Alexis rightfully pointed out that no judge would convict the teen, but Drew wanted the arrest on record. So the attorney changed her approach and argued that Scout would blame herself if Danny were arrested. “So for Scout’s sake,” she begged, “could you cut the crap and stop this nonsense, please?!” Drew insisted he would explain things to Scout so she wouldn’t feel guilty and demanded Chase do his job. But the detective declared there were no grounds for an arrest, and the best he could offer was to issue Danny a warning. After Chase left, Jason advanced on Drew, threatening, “You want to come at me, that’s fine. Don’t ever try to do it through my son again.”

When Chase joined Danny, he assured the teen he wasn’t being arrested, but cautioned him not to do anything like this again. When Jason joined them, Chase explained how the situation could have turned out differently if the camp had called 911 after noticing Scout missing; Danny could have been in big trouble. After Jason thanked the detective for his help, Chase exited. Danny insisted to his dad that Scout was sad and lonely and had asked him to bring her to the mansion, but Jason pointed out some alternative solutions and urged the young man to consider other options before doing something like this again. Danny wondered if his Uncle Drew would really have had him arrested, and Jason declared, “Absolutely.”
Out in the hall, Drew tried to get Alexis to see things from his perspective, as a congressman fearing his child had been abducted. Alexis understood, but insisted he was taking this way too far. Drew declared he was trying to protect Scout from Jason, who has taught Danny that rules don’t apply to them. Alexis argued that Danny loved Scout, but Drew countered by bringing up how Danny took Rocco to a college party where he got alcohol poisoning, calling Danny out of control. He recalled how Sam always wanted to protect Danny from Jason, reasoning that she’d want him to protect Scout from Danny. “Well, since you’re invoking my daughter’s name into this, let me tell you what she wouldn’t have wanted,” Alexis said firmly. “She wouldn’t want her daughter isolated from her brothers. She wouldn’t want her daughter denied access to a house that she considers her home. And she wouldn’t want her daughter taken to Washington, D.C., away from the only family that she knows. What she would want is for you to stop being so selfish and to put her daughter’s needs above your own.”
Drew apologized for bringing Sam into it because what she wanted didn’t matter. “Because she’s not here,” he declared icily. “And I am.” As Alexis fumed, Drew said that as Scout’s only living parent, he wants his daughter to stay away from people who undermine him and can’t be trusted. Physically stepping back, Alexis took a deep breath and attempted to defuse the situation, but Drew took a step forward and informed her it was too late — she’d proven that she couldn’t be trusted. “So from now on,” he announced, “Scout will be having no more contact with you, with Danny, or with anyone else from your family.” Alexis just stood there, stunned, as Drew stormed out.

A Terrible Mistake
Marco arrived at the hospital looking for Lucas and went to the break room just in time to witness the tail end of Willow and Lucas’s heated argument in which Willow slapped her colleague across the face. The nurse took off, and Lucas explained to Marcus how his conversation with Willow had spiraled out of control. Marco offered to be a witness if he wanted to go to HR, but Lucas declined, not wanting to add to Willow’s problems. He also admitted he should have just let Willow have her “hit of Drew” and stayed out of it. Changing the subject, Lucas asked what brought Marco over. Marco explained that he’d had a conversation with Carly, but suddenly declared that the details would have to wait. He kissed Lucas goodbye and made a swift exit.

Willow ran off to hide in a stairwell and tried to calm down. When Liz found her and asked if she was okay, Willow cried, “I just made a mistake that could permanently cost me my kids.” The nurse shook as she shared how the argument had escalated, and after getting the pertinent details, Liz warned that assaulting another staff member was grounds for suspension, even termination. Terrified that losing her job would cost her custody of Wiley and Amelia, Willow wanted to apologize to Lucas, but Liz told her to pack up and go home. She promised to try and smooth things over, but informed Willow she was in no state to see patients right now. Liz then went to the break room to ask if Lucas wanted to fill out an incident report, but he just wanted to let it go. She assured him that Willow felt terrible, but Lucas suggested that unless she made a big change, she shouldn’t be anywhere near Michael’s children. He also added that if Michael didn’t already have sole custody, he would have reported today’s incident immediately.
No Fun in the Sun
Maxie brought James to the Metro Court pool for a swim date with Cody. Nearby, Rocco informed Gio that Lulu was going to adopt Outback and invited him and Emma to visit the pooch. Brook Lynn arrived, and Gio moved to intercept her, so she awkwardly explained she was there to talk to Maxie. Sitting down with her friend, Brook Lynn understood Maxie disliking the decision not to go to the police about Sonny’s illegal investment, but insisted it was the best way to protect Deception. Maxie worried that if something still went wrong and they lost the company, she would be left with nothing. She still wanted to go to the cops. Meanwhile, Rocco opened up to Gio about how things were getting better with his mom, and asked how he was doing with his. Gio admitted it wasn’t just about being given up for adoption, and that Brook Lynn had done other things that hurt people. Rocco assured Gio that he was actually grateful to Brook Lynn for exposing him to the truth about his birth. Still, Gio insisted there were too many issues between him and Brook Lynn right now.

While going after a ball that got away from them, Cody and James ran into Sidwell, and the very chatty little boy told the curious businessman how Maxie was his mother, and his grandfather, Mac, was chief of detectives as well as Cody’s dad. Marco joined them, and Sidwell introduced everyone before Cody dragged James back to the pool. Sitting with his father, Marco brought up how Sidwell had set Sonny up to look like he bribed the judge to give Michael full custody of the kids and warned he should play that card now. He explained that Willow was unraveling, so he could soon lose that leverage over Sonny.
Living Situations
When Obrecht threatened to reveal to Rocco that it was Lulu’s idea to kick her out of the Metro Court Hotel, Carly warned that it would just hurt Rocco, too. Obrecht complained about the way Carly was treating the mother of the woman who saved her daughter’s life, and Carly reminded her she was paying for Obrecht’s stay at the Cosmo. Liesl warned that keeping her away from Rocco would only make the boy resent his mother, and Carly frowned. The doctor also insisted that she had cleaned up her act.
Nearby, Anna intercepted Brennan, looking for an update on Josslyn’s mission, and when he declared it none of her business, she again threatened to expose to Carly that Joss was working for the WSB. When Jack reported that Joss and Vaughn hadn’t checked in yet, Anna grew concerned, but he was confident that he’d know if something had gone wrong. Just then, Obrecht called Anna over to tell Carly how she’d changed for the better. After Liesl quickly explained the situation with Rocco, Anna urged her to make peace with Rocco’s parents because Britt wouldn’t want this conflict. In the spirit of cooperation, Obrecht agreed to take a room at the Cosmo but insisted on the penthouse. After Carly stepped away, Liesl expressed her curiosity about Anna and Jack, mentioning she knew he beat her out for the top spot at the WSB Academy. Anna was stunned that Obrecht knew that. Obrecht delighted in lording over Anna that Faison had talked about her so much that Obrecht was in possession of a lot of information about Ms. Devane.

Brennan sat down at a table and was soon joined by Colette. He was surprised to see her back in town already. She was concerned about Agent Jacks being sent on a mission she was not ready for and urged him to have her extracted immediately. Brennan reminded her who was in charge and pointed out that if it weren’t for Josslyn, they wouldn’t even know about the Five Poppies. He also added that Vaughn would protect her. When Carly approached the table, Colette made a hasty retreat. Carly wanted to go somewhere more private, but he had to quickly pause to read a text from “V” that read: “Loving the sunset here in Croatia.” Reporting that an associate had just checked in and everything was fine, Jack happily headed off with Carly.
Cross/Double Cross
At the Five Poppies resort, Josslyn was shocked to see Britt flirting with Vaughn, and Pascal startled her further when he approached and asked if she was okay. “You look like you’ve seen a ghost,” he remarked. Joss quickly covered by asking who was flirting with her husband, but he wouldn’t give a name, just that she was a long-term guest. Britt tried inviting Vaughn back to her room, but Pascal interrupted to send her to a massage appointment. As Vaughn exited, Britt promised he’d definitely see her around. Once alone, Pascal warned that there were consequences for breaking the rules, and she was to keep a low profile. Britt complained, “Hello, I’m not Taylor Swift. I’m in Croatia. Who’s gonna recognize me here?” Pascal pointed out that vacationers post photos to social media, and she could be recognized in the background, ruining everything. Britt begged for freedom to leave the resort, but Pascal warned she already enjoyed plenty of privileges… that could also be taken away. Britt snarked that they both knew he wasn’t really the man in charge, but Pascal reminded her that he was in charge of her. Britt decided she’d go to the lab and ask for some changes around here. “Starting with you,” she spat.

Josslyn returned to her room, where Vaughn complained about her sending the manager to interrupt him as he was making progress. She argued it would have looked very suspicious if Mrs. Nash weren’t jealous of some rando hitting on her new husband. Vaughn had hoped to get to know the long-term resident to get access to some other areas of the resort, but Josslyn revealed she already knew her… though she’s supposed to be dead! Showing him a photo of Dr. Britt Westbourne, Josslyn explained how Britt supposedly died saving Joss from a serial killer. Vaughn wondered why she’d faked her death. Joss noted that Britt also had Huntington’s disease, so perhaps she didn’t want to deteriorate in front of everyone. Vaughn theorized that perhaps Britt, who seemed in perfect health, had also faked her diagnosis. Josslyn was more concerned with Britt seeing her and blowing their cover.
After Vaughn texted Brennan, he informed Josslyn that he didn’t mention Britt to the boss because he wanted more information first. She told him Britt was a very good doctor and the daughter of Liesl Obrecht and Cesar Faison. Reading up on the doc, Vaughn noted that she specialized in laboratory research, and they deduced she had to be connected to the cold fusion project. “I would bet anything that Dr. Britt Westbourne is the key to getting the answers we need,” Vaughn declared.
Meanwhile, Britt returned to Pascal to complain that the boss wasn’t on the premises, and he ordered her to get back to work until they were back on schedule. After she stalked off, irritated, Pascal got a call from an associate who was revealed to be Colette, calling from Port Charles! She warned that they had a problem — two WSB agents had infiltrated the facility and identified them as Mr. and Mrs. Christopher Nash.

Will Britt prove to be friend or foe now that Josslyn and Vaughn’s cover has been blown? Can anyone talk sense into Drew, or will he continue to spiral? And can Willow get her act together so that she can see her children? Share your thoughts and predictions on the current GH storylines in the comments below!
