General Hospital Recap: Carly and Valentin Confront Jack As Josslyn’s Escape Hits A Snag
The Wednesday, June 3, episode of General Hospital had some nail-biting moments! Things didn’t go as well as Carly (Laura Wright) hoped they would when she and Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) confronted Jack (Chris McKenna), Pascal (Marc Forget) and Josslyn (Eden McCoy) both attempted to escape from Wyndemere but Jenz (Carlo Rota) captured one of them, Tracy (Jane Elliot) caught Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) and Chase (Josh Swickard) in a compromising position, and Lucas (Van Hansis) had an update for Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Laura (Genie Francis). Here’s the full rundown on what happened.
Gone Girl
Carly helped Valentin sneak into Turning Woods to see Jack, who wanted Valentin’s help to stop Cullum. But before he agreed, Carly demanded to know where Josslyn was and how to bring her back home. Carly believed Jack when he swore he didn’t know where Joss was, but when he speculated that she had gone into hiding, Carly insisted that her daughter must have been captured because she wouldn’t have left town voluntarily without saying goodbye. After suggesting Valentin and Carly start their search at Wyndemere, Jack told Valentin to get in touch with a contact of his named Z and tell him everything, or they’d never find Josslyn.

Valentin realized that Jack didn’t want to make contact with Z himself and risk Cullum finding out that he’d regained the ability to communicate. But Valentin refused to risk his own arrest by reaching out to Z. After Valentin walked out, Jack implored Carly to convince Valentin to get in touch with Z, insisting that Z would be able to shut down Cullum and Sidwell. At the mention of Sidwell and Cullum’s names, an angry Carly blasted Jack for being concerned about the men’s project while she was worried about finding her missing daughter. She hissed that she’d never forgive him for getting Josslyn involved with the WSB.
Escape Room
At Wyndemere, Joe questioned Pascal about Marco’s murder in front of Sidwell, Tracy, Brook Lynn and Lucy. Swearing that he had nothing to do with Marco’s death, Pascal spat that the PCPD should question Lucas. At the same time, Josslyn was down in the basement room and rigged the overhead light to cause a power surge in the castle. In the minutes before the island’s generator kicked on, Pascal managed to escape — and Sidwell was livid. After ushering the Deception women out of the house, he asked if Det. Fitzpatrick believed Pascal was Marco’s killer, pointing out that innocent people don’t take off as soon as they’re about to be questioned by the police. Joe replied that Pascal running was not an admission of guilt, then warned Sidwell not to interfere with the PCPD’s investigation.
With the electronic lock disabled due to the power outage, Josslyn was able to pry open the door to the room and make her way to freedom. Alas, when she got up to the main floor and opened the front door, Sidwell was waiting for her — with a gun!

Too Close For Comfort
After leaving Spoon Island, Tracy, Brook Lynn, and Lucy retreated to the Quartermaine mansion, and Tracy quickly set out on a walk to clear her head. As Lucy and Brook Lynn chatted about Phoebe, Lucy complimented Brook Lynn on how she’d shifted her priorities to focus on her role as the baby’s mother. Brook Lynn gushed about how wonderful it was to have Chase as a parenting partner. Then, Lucy brought up the tension between Chase and Michael during Willow’s trial, marveling that she was amazed they were still living under the same roof. Brook Lynn insisted Chase had just been doing his job and the family had moved on. Before leaving, Lucy expressed how happy she was that Brook Lynn was building a family with someone she loved, and not to let anyone take that away from her. Once alone, Brook Lynn flashed back to warning Willow to keep her distance from Chase.

Out at the boathouse, Chase and Willow discussed how his efforts to help her during the trial led to him being demoted from detective to patrolman. Chase balked when Willow offered him the job as her chief of staff, claiming he wasn’t qualified, but she urged him to consider the position, especially since it would give him a regular schedule that would benefit him raising a family.
As Chase questioned why it was so important to Willow that he take the job, Tracy spotted the two in a close moment and hid behind the boathouse as Willow proclaimed that Chase was one of the few people she could depend on. Willow left after making Chase promise to think over her offer. Tracy then emerged from the shadows and growled that Chase had cheated on her granddaughter for the last time.

What’s Up, Doc?
At Bobbie’s, Kristina told Michael she was moving to California to enroll in med school at UCLA. He was surprised by his sister’s sudden interest in medicine but offered his full support.

Helping Hands
Lucas met up with Sonny and Laura at the Corinthos Coffee warehouse. He briefed them about how Dante and Joe were skeptical about whether Pascal was truly a viable suspect in Marco’s murder, but Dante had sent Det. Fitzpatrick to Wyndemere to question the butler anyway. Lucas was afraid that Pascal would come out the other side without making Jenz suspicious, but Sonny was sure that they’d done enough to send Pascal running, since a grieving Sidwell was likely to retaliate against any viable suspect.

Laura got a phone call confirming that Pascal had fled during a power outage at Wyndemere. She, Sonny, and Lucas cheered that their plan seemed to have worked. Now they just needed to convince Pascal to lend them a helping hand. Enacting the next phase of their scheme, Sonny went out to search for Sidwell’s butler.
Alone with Laura, Lucas confided that he was worried that during his conversation with Det. Fitzpatrick, he had implicated himself as a potential suspect. Reassuring Lucas that nothing tied him to Marco’s murder, Laura noted that Pascal did exactly what they needed him to do by running, because that implied guilt to the PCPD and Sidwell. Meanwhile, Pascal’s attempt to flee was thwarted when his car wouldn’t start — because Sonny had tampered with the vehicle. Sonny then strolled up to the car and offered Pascal his assistance.

How does Z fit into things with Sidwell and Cullum? Have Sonny, Lucas and Laura done enough to get Pascal to flip on Sidwell? Is Josslyn doomed? Share your theories about what is going to happen next on GH in the comments below!
