General Hospital: How Would You Rate Jason and Britt’s Romance?

Jason (Steve Burton) and Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) were finally reunited on General Hospital in the July 27 episode, when the pair stole some alone time for the first time since Jason’s return from Jakarta. Now we want to know: how are you feeling about their pairing this time around?

Are Jason and Britt Worth Rooting For?

Since Jason and Britt were first paired back in 2021, their relationship has been characterized by stops and starts. Their early romance was derailed when Jason was forced into a marriage of convenience with Carly (Laura Wright), then by his presumed death in a tunnel collapse on Cassadine Island.

By the time Jason returned from the dead in 2024, Britt had “died” at the hands of Heather Webber (Alley Mills). In 2025, when he learned that she was, in fact, alive, he risked his own safety to infiltrate The Five Poppies resort, where she had been forced to work for Sidwell (Carlo Rota) and Cullum (Andrew Hawkes), and it was clear that their feelings for one another were as alive as they were.

But it was not smooth sailing for the duo, first because she was still beholden to Sidwell and Cullum, then because Cullum threatened to kill Jason if Britt didn’t stay away from him, and then, most recently, because Jason took the fall for shooting Cullum to protect Rocco (Finn Carr) and was carted off by the WSB for months.

Jason was finally released and sought Britt out at the hospital — that is, after returning from a road trip with his son, Danny (Asher Antonyzyn). In the episode, Britt was miffed to learn that he’d been free for weeks without reaching out, but Jason assured her that he was home “for good.” Britt then shared some big news of her own: she had learned that she was not dying of Huntington’s disease, and in fact had been tricked into believing she even had the condition.

Their reunion ended with Britt reminding Jason that before he’d been imprisoned, she’d told him that she loved him — and she added that she’d meant it. “That’s good,” Jason declared. “Because I love you, too.”

Now, for the first time in a long time, there is no immediate obstacle threatening to tear Jason and Britt apart. But are they a couple you’re rooting for, or do you think their relationship has run its course?
