Beyond the Gates Stars Celebrate Pride in The Locher Room
Four stars from the new CBS soap Beyond the Gates are visiting The Locher Room on Thursday, June 19, at 7:30 p.m. ET to celebrate Pride. Host Alan Locher will be welcoming guests Mike Manning (Smitty), Brandon Claybon (Martin), Arielle Prepetit (Naomi), and RhonniRose Mantilla (Chelsea) to the show.
Beyond Pride
Manning first rose to fame as a cast member of The Real World: D.C. in 2009 before embarking on an acting career with roles on series like Hawaii Five-0 and Teen Wolf. He first played Caleb McKinnon on the streaming soap The Bay in 2019, and then joined the cast of Days of Our Lives to play Charlie Dale from 2020-22. After a recurring role as The Manny on This Is Us, Manning was then cast on BTG as Bradley “Smitty” Smith, a journalist and father of two with his husband, Martin. In real life, Manning married his husband, Nicholas Tocco, in October 2017.
Claybon’s television credits include episodes of shows like Two and a Half Men, The Mentalist, How to Get Away With Murder, S.W.A.T., 9-1-1, and Grey’s Anatomy. Another of the original cast members of BTG, he plays Martin Richardson, Smitty’s husband, who is a congressman and father of two, who his harboring a dark secret in his past.
Dancer and actor Prepetit previously appeared on prime-time series like Found and BMF as well as in movies like About My Father before being cast on BTG as Naomi Hamilton Hawthorne, an attorney who frequently clashes with her father over his new, younger wife.
Mantilla is a Broadway performer whose work on the stage includes Harmony the Musical, Into the Woods, The Wiz, and A Chorus Line. She made her network television debut with BTG, playing the role of Chelsea Hamilton, Naomi’s sister, who has given up her modeling career to become an accessory designer. The character also recently came out as bisexual.
