Andy Cohen Responds To Soap Fan Outrage
ABC’s prime-time special, THE STORY OF SOAPS, which aired last night, drew criticism from fans for its focus on the advent of reality television, with Bravo exec and WATCH WHAT HAPPENS LIVE WITH ANDY COHEN host Andy Cohen, executive producer of the REAL HOUSEWIVES franchise, suggesting that reality TV programming had made soaps irrelevant. He responded on Twitter by saying, “I went to the interview as a soap fan prepped to talk soaps, and they asked about reality tv and I answered their questions. Sue me!”
