Robert Gossett is best known to prime time audiences for playing Russell Taylor on The Closer and Major Crimes. The actor made his daytime debut back in 1990 in an episode of Santa Barbara and also appeared in a few episodes of Young and Restless in 2007 and 2020. In 2021, Gossett joined the cast of General Hospital to play Marshall Ashford and earned the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in 2023 and 2024. Since 2024, he has been on recurring status with the soap, making occasional appearances.
