Hillary B. Smith made her daytime debut as Kit McCormick on The Doctors in 1982. She went on to play Margo Hughes on As the World Turns from 1983 to 1989. In 1992, joined One Life to Live as Nora Hanen Buchanan, remaining through the show’s 2012 finale and returning for the 2013 online revival. She also played Nora on General Hospital in 2017 and 2019. In 2012, she appeared on The Bold and the Beautiful as Dr. Stacy Burton. Smith won the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in 1994 for her OLTL work, which also earned her two Soap Opera Digest Award nominations (alongside the three she earned for ATWT).
