“My first television credit was playing Penelope Shafai on GOSSIP GIRL. It was an amazing experience. I made lifelong friends and I learned so much about the industry — about set life and preparation and professionalism.”

“It was for a TV series called TRIBES. I was modeling first and then I started acting at 21 and then I got TRIBES, so I may have been almost 22. I remember going in and reading for it and thought, ‘I’m gonna get this!’ It’s such a good feeling when you know you killed it.”
Eric Martsolf (Brady, DAYS)
“It was PASSIONS, but not as Ethan Winthrop. It was as Julian Crane’s demon, when Theresa was in hell. I was in complete prosthetics. I looked like Satan dressed up in Gene Simmons boots from Kiss. My job was to greet Theresa in hell, throw her down on the ground, and warn her not to mess with me. The funny thing about it is that two months later, I was her love interest on the show.”
Camryn Grimes (Mariah, Y&R)
“I was a child actress and I landed a commercial for Albertsons [grocery stores]. I had to pretend to be sick, so I got to wear pajamas and eat vanilla bean ice cream all day. It was heaven!”
Robert Scott Wilson (Alex, DAYS)
“It was this cheeky, funny kids show called SUPAH NINJAS on Nickelodeon. I played Colin Kirk, this teen heartthrob vampire movie character within the show that the girl had a crush on. He was pretty much the Robert Pattinson from Twilight character. I had moved to L.A. about a year earlier and had started studying acting, but I was still very green. I knew enough about Twilight and VAMPIRE DIARIES, how these characters moved and what their fan base was like. I got to implement that and had a great time.”
Joshua Hoffman (R.J., B&B)
“My first TV credit was SHAMELESS and all I remember is being red in the face because [series star] William H. Macy could not stop making me laugh before I had to do a really serious scene.”

“I had maybe 10 episodes on GUIDING LIGHT as a character named Misty. She was not a good character. She was not a classy lady.”
Josh Kelly (Cody, GH)
“My very first TV credit was a TV show called DESIRE, and what I most remember is that Tanisha Harper [Jordan, GH] and I were both on it.”
