REwind Con

The REwind Convention is dedicated to entertainment from the 80’s, 90’s and on. The weekend-long event features panels and performances by soap stars, teen heartthrobs, boy bands, prime-time celebs and more. Tickets range from $40 to $825 depending on event and VIP status. Soap-related events begin on Saturday with a Y&R panel from 10-11 a.m. featuring Judith Chapman (ex-Gloria), Kristoff St. John (Neil), Kate Linder (Esther) and Jess Walton (Jill). Port Chuck, which includes GH’s Bradford Anderson (ex-Spinelli), Brandon Barash (Johnny), Scott Reeves (ex-Steve) and Steve Burton (Jason), will preform from 3:30-4:30 p.m. The GH panel will take place from 4:45-5:15 p.m. and features Burton, Carolyn Hennessey (Diane), Tristan Rodgers (Robert Scorpio) and John J. York (Mac). On Sunday, the Soap Nation event will take place from 1:15-2:15 p.m. and includes Kassie and James DePaiva (ex-Eve, DAYS and ex-Max, OLTL), Bobbie Eakes (ex-Krystal, AMC) and Melissa Reeves (Jennifer, DAYS). More actors are to be announced later for all events. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Reach Out World Wide (Paul Walker’s foundation), which provides rescue and recovery aid in the wake of natural disasters.
