On the Friday, July 25, episode of Young and Restless, teasers indicate that Victor (Eric Braeden) takes matters into his own hands. Also, Billy (Jason Thompson) and Sally (Courtney Hope) work together to help an injured Nick (Joshua Morrow). Lastly, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) is backed into a corner.     Carter (Vincent Stalba) appears to want to ensure that Lily (Christel Khalil, r.) has everything she needs, most likely under the direction of her ex-husband Cane. Amanda (Mishael Morgan) is also on hand, watching closely and suspiciously as the scene unfolds before her.

    Amanda has to know that aside from Cane, Carter is the only other person who knows about the secret security room and could be capable of editing the footage to eliminate the span of time during which the murder occurred. Is she confronting her co-worker about it?

    It appears that Cane (Billy Flynn) interrupts Amanda's questioning of Carter. Will Cane take over the interrogation, or will he put a stop to it? Will Amanda finally get the truth from her boss about what happened that night, or at least come to finally believe his version of events?

    Cane poses some pressing questions to his right-hand man. How far is Carter willing to go to repay the man he feels rescued him from a life of poverty? Is Carter guilty of killing Damian? And if he did commit the murder, did he do it on Cane’s orders — or to please his boss by eliminating his romantic competition?

    Cane is left with a lot to think about. It appears something — or someone — catches his eye. What exactly is Cane seeing, and could it be someone who means to do him harm?

    Victor (Eric Braeden, l.) is fed up with abiding by everyone else's rules, including those of Chance (Conner Floyd). With his son Nick in danger, along with Sharon, Victor is determined to take matters into his own hands. Cane and Carter should probably watch out.

    Billy (Jason Thompson), who realizes that Nick is bleeding badly, seeks help from Sally (Courtney Hope). Will she jump into action with him to help save his former brother-in-law, who also happens to be her ex-boyfriend?

    Nick (Joshua Morrow) appears to be struggling to stay awake as Sharon (Sharon Case) looks on in deep worry. Billy is doing his best to stop the bleeding, but can they do enough to prevent Nick's condition from spiraling into something more dangerous?
