GH Star Addresses Online Bashing
In the new issue of Soap Opera Digest, Laura Wright (Carly, GH) speaks out against a recent uptick in online actor-bashing, with some fans accusing cast members who have expressed their happiness over Steve Burton’s (Jason) return to the show as being disrespectful to Billy Miller (Drew). “The fact that we have just gotten a lot of flak and people are threatening us over our soap opera characters and telling us they want us to get sick and die — I mean, I’m just like, ‘You’re kidding me.’ It blows my mind,” she laments. “The truth is that yes, I am so excited that Steve came back [and] I also love having Billy here and think he’s awesome.
