On the Thursday, August 14, episode of General Hospital, spoilers tease that Stella (Vernee Watson), undeterred by Curtis’s (Donnell Turner) suggestion that she stay out of it, urges Kai (Jens Austin Astrup) to fight for Trina (Tabyana Ali). On a similar front, Michael (Rory Gibson) encourages Gio (Giovanni Mazza). But is it about Gio’s feelings for Emma (Braedyn Bruner) or for his estranged parents?
Speaking of Gio’s parents, they have an important discussion as Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) strategize about how best to deal with their son, who wants nothing to do with them. “I want us to do the same thing with Gio,” Dante tells her.
After getting their marriage back on track with their very romantic evening reconnecting, Curtis goes to see Portia (Brook Kerr) at G.H. He tells her, “I have a very important invitation for my wife.” What does he have planned?
A Friend In Need
Chase (Josh Swickard) sees Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) at the park and he continues to be a good friend to her, which she needs desperately at this point. “I can’t tell you how much it means to hear you say that,” she tells him. Their friendship is mutual, as Chase also confides in Willow. How much will he tell her about what he’s going through with Brook Lynn and their desire to have a family of their own?
Laura (Genie Francis) talks with Sonny (Maurice Benard) when the two see each other at the Metro Court. “You’re sacrificing your own security — for me?” Laura asks, incredulous. What exactly has Sonny done to make Laura say this?
Drew (Cameron Mathison) is at the Metro Court as well, it’s unclear exactly who he is with. Considering how much most of Port Charles hates him, it’s probably a short list. “The best thing we can do is to move to D.C. as soon as possible,” he tells someone unseen. Is it Molly (Kristen Vaganos)? Because spoilers say that Molly tries to reason with Drew. He’s recently told her mother Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) that he plans to keep his daughter Scout (Cosette Abinante) — Sam’s daughter — away from Sam’s family.
