Monica’s will was read on the October 6 episode of General Hospital… and the Quartermaine clan was reeling over who inherited the house! Find out exactly what happened below!
Warning Sign
Curtis stopped by Alexis’s house to follow up on the message she’d left him indicating that she had information about Drew’s shooting. Believing that the police were close to making an arrest, she explained that, since the second meeting she’d had scheduled with Anna had been canceled, she suspected the police had new evidence and that the investigation was no longer directed at her. She warned Curtis that if he felt the police were closing in on him, he should get his ducks in a row.

Britt returned to her room above Bobbie’s after a shower to find Jason inside. Accusing him of going through her things, she tossed him out before he could explain that he was there to pack up the rest of the things like she’d requested, but let him back in once he handed over his key. Having heard from Spinelli about Nathan’s return, Jason questioned why Britt had tried to stop James from seeing his father. After lamenting how her mom had fawned over Nathan’s resurrection but wouldn’t even speak to her, Britt shared that she’d worried a reunion might’ve been overwhelming for Nathan, and it was unfair to James to force him into a sudden relationship with a man he’d believed to be dead. She’d backed off from trying to get to know Rocco for similar reasons, she added. Britt was touched when Jason declared she was a good person and wondered why she always sold herself short.
Over a breakfast date with Brennan downstairs at the diner, Carly recapped her recent meeting with Anna. Jack reassured her that she had a solid alibi since she was with him the entire night. “Except I wasn’t,” Carly fretted. He promised he wouldn’t let anything happen to her. Carly asserted that she hadn’t been the one to shoot Drew and thanked Jack for being someone she could depend on. Then, Josslyn arrived earlier than Carly had expected her home. Joss convincingly retold her cover story, but once her mom left the table, Jack confirmed that Carly knew nothing about Croatia and pressed the importance of Joss keeping her job with the WSB a secret. Josslyn worried that Jason wouldn’t be able to keep the truth from Carly for very long, but Brennan said he’d handle Carly’s best friend. Jack took off once Carly returned to the table, but not before Josslyn rolled her eyes at their kiss good-bye.

After Brennan left, Josslyn peppered her mother with questions about her and Michael’s alibis for Drew’s shooting. She was caught off guard when Britt came downstairs, and feigned surprise to see the doctor in the flesh. Unaware that Joss and Britt had crossed paths in Croatia, Carly explained that Britt was miraculously alive. “This must be quite a shock. I think the words you’re looking for are ‘thank you,’ ” Britt smirked. “Yes, yes. Thank you for saving my life,” Joss replied, as Carly remained clueless that Britt had recently saved her daughter for a second time. Next, Carly reminded Britt that rent was due, and she had until midnight to fork over what she owed. “Perhaps we should talk about what you owe me,” Britt countered, giving Josslyn a pointed look.
Manipulation Station
Beckoned to Bobbie’s by Martin, Tracy laughed off his attempt to serve her with a lawsuit on behalf of Drew for emotional distress and assault. Calling the lawsuit frivolous, Tracy refused to settle or apologize and informed Martin she’d see him and Drew in court.

Later, Curtis met Marshall for coffee before his dad left for the next leg of the concert tour and filled him in on what he’d learned from Alexis. Although he didn’t know what new evidence the police supposedly had, Curtis had a hunch it was possibly the blackmail material Drew had against Portia. “Which would give you and Portia motive to go after Drew,” Marshall sighed. Curtis maintained his own innocence, but worried about his estranged wife not having an alibi. Marshall noted that since the police hadn’t questioned Portia, it was possible they didn’t even find the blackmail file. “But why didn’t they?” Curtis pondered. “Is Drew keeping it somewhere other than his house? Or does he even have it in his possession anymore?” Needing to know for sure, Curtis decided to go see Drew, figuring it would be telling if he gave his former friend a reason to blackmail him and the congressman didn’t take the bait.
In A Dizzy
At the hub, Portia asked Liz to confirm if a day with slower patient processing time had been Britt’s first day back to work, and the head nurse snarked that it had been Britt’s first half day back. Meanwhile, in Drew’s room, Isaiah examined the congressman, who called out Dr. Gannon for his lackluster bedside manner. When Isaiah retorted that he thought Drew was out of line for getting Stella arrested, Drew claimed that he wasn’t the bad guy Curtis made him out to be, going so far as to call his former friend a “volatile, vindictive, controlling jerk” who also treats his wife poorly.
After leaving Drew, Isaiah went to Portia’s office to tell her he’d changed his mind and wanted to give them a chance. Portia informed Isaiah that lthough her marriage was over, she and Curtis had no official plans to divorce, so she wasn’t looking for a serious relationship. They agreed to see where things go between them and keep their dating a secret. Next, Isaiah ran into Curtis, who was on his way to Drew’s room. “Before you go, you and I need to get a few things straight,” Dr. Gannon declared.

Meanwhile, Martin broke the news to Drew that Tracy wouldn’t consider a settlement or apology — and that he was also not named in Monica’s will. Angrily condemning the family that had tossed him aside, Drew spat that he’d held on to hope that he and Monica would reconcile, but now he had nothing to lose when it came to the Quartermaines.
Back in Portia’s office, she and Liz reviewed Britt’s work log, and the chief of staff decided to speak with Ms. Westbourne when she got to work. As Portia walked to her office door, she began feeling dizzy and put her hand to the wall to brace herself.

Be Our Guest
As the Quartermaines gathered for the reading of Monica’s will, Olivia pitched her desire for a pizza oven to Michael, who she assumed would be inheriting the house. Michael gave her his blessing to have one installed in time for Thanksgiving so the family could make their own pizza this year. When Ronnie showed up, Ned, Olivia, Michael, and Brook Lynn were taken aback to learn that Monica had a sister she’d never mentioned. Olivia found it curious that Ronnie was there for the will but hadn’t been at the memorial the day prior. Ronnie explained that she’d actually been at the family crypt before Tracy had her kicked off the property, but she’d been invited by Miller & Davis to attend the reading of the will.
While waiting for Alexis, the family got to know Ronnie, and she shared how Monica had written to her about all of them. Once Tracy got home, she tried to kick the interloper out. Alexis arrived as the women bickered and confirmed that she’d invited Monica’s sister to the reading.
Heir Of Resentment
In her will, Monica left trust funds for Jake, Danny, Scout, Wiley, Amelia, and any future grandchildren or great-grandchildren. Brook Lynn got her pearl necklace, Ned her classic vinyl collection, and Olivia received her gourmet cookware. Ronnie received one of Monica’s oldest and most cherished possessions: a locket containing a photo of them as children before they got separated. Tracy chortled over the gold-digger’s lack of a windfall but was left fuming when all she was bequeathed was a jar of Pickle-Lila relish — the same item she’d received from Edward when he cut her out of his will. “Monica knew how much that hurt me,” complained Tracy. “Did she think I’d find this a joke?”
Tracy’s rant was interrupted when Jason arrived, just in time to learn from Alexis that he had been left Alan’s watch, an heirloom passed down from Edward. Next, Alexis read that Michael was given the horses, the cars, and the family yacht, and everyone was confused that his inheritance didn’t include something more. As Alexis concluded reading the will, the family was stunned to learn that Monica had left the rest of her estate — including the house that Alan had given her — to Ronnie!

Were you surprised that Monica gave the estate to Ronnie? Why do you think Portia felt faint? Do you think that Britt will rat out Josslyn? Share your theories and predictions about what’s next on GH in the comments below!
