General Hospital Recap: (Spoiler) Finds Dalton’s Body, Chase Is On To Michael And More
There was a lot of action on the November 20 episode of General Hospital! Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) was stunned by the way Sidwell (Carlo Rota) handled their Dalton (Daniel Goddard) problem, Chase (Josh Swickard) got some useful information from Nina (Cynthia Watros), Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) shared her story from the night of the shooting with Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn), Ezra (Daniel Cosgrove) revealed his connection to Jacinda (Paige Herschell), and Laura (Genie Francis) made a horrific discovery. Find out how it all went down by reading below!
Shot Through The Heart
Ticked that a drunk Dalton exposed their project to the authorities, Sidwell shot the professor. He then calmly called Pascal to come clean up “a mess,” and Britt flipped out that her boss had murdered the man when she’d meant for him merely to pay off Dalton and make him leave town. Informing Britt that she’d sealed Dalton’s fate when she’d ratted him out for double-crossing the project, Sidwell pointed at the dead professor and bellowed, “This is what happens when you betray me.”
Britt had another freak-out upon learning that Pascal was the new butler at Wyndemere, and Sidwell patronizingly informed her that the man had his uses just as she did. Pascal offered to take care of Dalton, but Sidwell instructed him to escort Britt home. “She’s a little bit shaken up, and I’d hate for her to do anything unwise,” Sidwell told his butler while issuing a veiled warning to Britt at the same time. Britt refused to go anywhere with Pascal but had no choice but to give in when Sidwell insisted she hand over her car keys. Looking at Dalton’s corpse on the floor, she asked if Sidwell was going to make the professor disappear, but Sidwell determined that the dead man still had use.

Once he delivered Britt to her room above Bobbie’s, Pascal forced his way inside and blamed her for being the reason they had to leave the Five Poppies. Britt insisted that it wasn’t her fault, but Pascal warned her that being in Port Charles was her second chance, and she wouldn’t be given a third. Fighting back tears, Britt promised to do her work, that she hadn’t told anyone about the project, and that she’d keep her mouth shut about Dalton. Before leaving, Pascal warned her that if she got the impulse to confide in someone, they were watching her. Once alone, a frustrated Britt screamed into a pillow. Then, after a shower, she tried to inject her medicine, but her hand shook and she flashed back to Sidwell shooting Dalton. Her hands shaking too much to administer the drug, Britt tossed the needle onto the bed and sank to the floor and cried.

Sore Loser
Lulu went to her mom’s office to congratulate Laura on getting reelected. Then, just as Lulu was about to share Alexis and Ric’s strategy for Rocco’s case, Ezra barged in, accusing Sonny of buying the election to secure Laura’s win. Laura told Ezra to give it up, since his attempt to use her connection with Sonny as a liability didn’t get him anywhere with the voters. Lulu went into reporter mode, asking for a comment on the election results. After telling Lulu to go to hell, Ezra declared that he wasn’t giving up. Mayor Collins mockingly invited him to tantrum all he wanted about it — anywhere but in her office —and physically pushed Ezra out before slamming the door in his face.
After Ezra left, Lulu filled her mom in on the plan to use Danny and Charlotte to back up Rocco’s story and hopefully prove that he was framed by Dalton. She confided that she was worried about putting Danny and Charlotte at risk, but Laura thought Charlotte would feel good knowing she was helping her brother. Plus, Laura added, cover-ups only caused more damage once the truth came out. When Lulu revealed that the kids were going to turn themselves in the next morning, Laura ranted that she hoped Dalton got what he deserved. Lulu wanted to take her mom out to celebrate, but Laura said she had work to do and suggested Lulu spend the night with Charlotte. Once alone, Laura smiled as she looked around her office.

Confession Time
Alexis returned to Miller & Davis to find Willow waiting for her. Willow explained that she wanted to take a more active role in her defense, but Alexis advised her to keep her nose down and stay away from Michael and the kids. Willow noted that she’d already screwed up on that count after seeing Michael, Jacinda, and Wiley at the Metro Court. Adamant that she needed to clear her name and get her kids back, Willow again said that she wanted to help Alexis prove her innocence. Alexis told Willow the best thing she could do to help with that was to share where she’d been when Drew was shot, because Nina’s false alibi had really hurt her case. Willow divulged that when the police questioned her, she was afraid to contradict her mother because she thought Nina was the one who needed an alibi and said that she’d been at work that night when Chase told her that Judge Heran was dead. Devastated by the news because the judge was the one overseeing her custody case, she went for a walk to clear her head, but it began raining, so she sat in her car, crying over photos of her children. Too much of a mess to go back inside, Willow revealed, she had just driven around until she pulled herself together. Willow swore that she had not driven to Drew’s house. Wrapping up their conversation, Alexis shared that Willow would be deposed next to establish her whereabouts, and a teary Willow hugged her attorney before heading to the door. Turning around before she exited, Willow cried, “It’s not a very good alibi, is it?” Acknowledging that it wasn’t the best, Alexis assured her client that it was more believable than Michael’s fabricated alibi and that believability would work in her favor.

Beck And Call Girls
Sonny got to meet his son’s new female companion when he ran into Michael and Jacinda at the Metro Court. Sonny and Michael agreed that it was great that Laura won the election, and they hoped that the Measure C vote would go in their favor as well. After Sonny left them, Michael complimented Jacinda on the way she’d handled meeting his son and now his father, and she replied that it was easy to pretend to be his girlfriend. When she asked if their fake relationship was starting to feel pretty serious to him, too, Michael smoothly changed the subject to Jacinda’s work at Crimson. Revealing that she may have found her calling, Jacinda thanked Michael for giving her the opportunity. Right after that, Ezra got off the elevator. He spotted Jacinda with Michael and promptly offered her triple whatever Michael was paying her. Although caught off guard that Jacinda had an association with Boyle, Michael calmly urged the councilman to leave. Jacinda then claimed she and Ezra were just old friends and told Boyle that she’d found a new line of work. Before leaving their table, Ezra told her not to lose his number.

Later, Jacinda apologized for the altercation and told Michael that she appreciated him defending her, but a public fight wouldn’t help him in his custody battle with Willow. When Michael insisted Ezra had no right to speak to Jacinda like she could be bought and sold, she gave him a sad smile and replied that that was what their deal was. Then, Michael got a text message.
Supper Clubs
Carly bumped into her brother in the elevator as Lucas was on his way up to the restaurant to meet Marco and Ava, and Lucas offered to go elsewhere with his boyfriend. Insisting that they didn’t have to leave, Carly also apologized to Lucas for her harsh words earlier. But knowing that she’d meant what she said about Marco using him on Sidwell’s behalf, Lucas threatened to cut Carly out of his life if she couldn’t support his relationship. Then, when the elevator doors opened at the restaurant, Lucas issued a cool good-bye to his sister before exiting, leaving Carly upset by their exchange.
Carly took a seat at Sonny’s table and sighed that her big mouth may have ruined her relationship with her brother. She complained that it was too dangerous for Lucas to be living with Sidwell. Sonny pointed out that the argument didn’t hold up, considering Carly’s relationship with him, adding that being in his circle came with risks that weren’t limited to physical harm. His friendship with Laura had almost cost her the election, Sonny noted, but thankfully she won. As they switched topics to Rocco, Carly was shocked when Sonny revealed he’d been the one to hire Ric. “I want to go on record right now saying I think it’s the worst mistake ever,” Carly snarked after Sonny explained that his brother had reached out wanting to make peace. To that, Sonny acknowledged that his eyes were wide open to Ric, but he pointed out that people do change. Glancing over to Jacinda and Michael at the next table, Sonny added that some people change for the worse. The hellish year their son had was the kind that changed people, and based on conversations he’d had with Michael, Sonny still wasn’t convinced that their son hadn’t been the one to shoot Drew and frame Willow. Sonny shared that he felt Michael got carried away in trying to keep the kids from Willow, and although the woman had made a lot of mistakes, she didn’t deserve to hang for something she didn’t do.

While waiting for Lucas, Ava warned Marco not to hurt her nephew, and he promised that he would do everything he could to make Lucas happy. Once Lucas finally joined them, Ava figured his foul mood was because of Carly, whom she’d seen him get off the elevator with. Claiming he didn’t have the bandwidth to fight with his sister, Lucas hoped that she’d eventually see how happy he was with Marco, and they could then repair their relationship. Then, the three cheered to Lucas and Marco’s milestone, and he imagined that he was going to enjoy living at Wyndemere again (having briefly resided there when Bobbie was married to Stefan Cassadine). As they wrapped up dinner, Lucas thanked Ava for being so supportive and promised he’d still join his aunt for wine and trashy TV.

Later, when Marco and Lucas returned to Wyndemere, they found Sidwell sitting on the sofa, casually paging through a book while Pascal readied his tea — all signs of the murder that had just occurred there had been eliminated. Marco was surprised that his dad wasn’t glued to the TV, awaiting to find out whether Measure C had passed. Sidwell said he was trying not to stress about it, and with a wink in his butler/cleaner’s direction, he praised Pascal for working so hard “to put my mind at ease.”
Bottom’s Up
Chase asked Nina to meet him at the Brown Dog and pressed her for information about her new assistant, Jacinda. When Nina played coy, Chase insisted it was after hours, and that he was there not as a cop but as Willow’s friend. Finally, Nina revealed that she’d only hired Jacinda because Michael forced her to. Chase mused that implied a quid pro quo arrangement, but he needed more than a hunch to go on. Nina then shared how she first crossed paths with Jacinda back when she was running the Metro Court and the escort entertained “dates” at the hotel. Nina disclosed that she called Jacinda when she wanted to frame Drew, figuring the escort would be the type that Drew went for after previously seeing the woman with Ezra Boyle. That info raised a flag with Chase, who wondered how many times Jacinda had been with Ezra. Before she left, Nina begged Chase to do whatever he could to help prove that Willow was innocent.

Later, Chase was settling his tab when Ezra strolled into the bar. As the councilman drowned his sorrows at the bar, Chase claimed that he’d cast his vote for him, and he thought it was a shame how Mayor Collins let crime run rampant throughout the city. Chase smiled to himself when Ezra invited him to share a drink.
Things That Go Bump In The Night
After meeting with Chase, Nina caught up with Ava at the Metro Court restaurant and divulged that she may have found a way to obliterate Michael’s alibi. Across the restaurant, Sonny asked Carly if she wanted to meet their son’s new friend, but she said she had to take care of something first. Then, she got a text from Jack, who wanted to see her later that night. Sonny approached Michael and Jacinda’s table, where Michael shared the unofficial news that his Aurora sources were reporting Measure C did not pass — so Sonny would keep his piers.
While driving home, Laura left a message for Kevin, who was in Dublin, telling him that she won the election, and pulled over when her car began making a strange noise. Seeing a nail in her tire, Laura opened her trunk to get out her flares to signal for help and found Dalton’s dead body instead!

Do you think that Chase will get Ezra to unravel Michael’s alibi? Were you as surprised as Laura was to see Dalton in the trunk of her car? Share your thoughts on the latest episode of GH in the comments below.
