General Hospital Recap: Sonny Suffers a Setback as Willow Fantasizes About Chase
On General Hospital on Thursday, September 24, Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) had a spicy dream about Chase (Josh Swickard) as Michael (Rory Gibson) offered to help Tracy (Jane Elliot) push his ex and Brook Lynn’s (Amanda Setton) husband back together, a fight with Sonny (Maurice Benard) left Ava (Maura West) more determined than ever to help Drew (Cameron Mathison) take him down, Sidwell (Carlo Rota) wanted Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) to represent him, Jordan (Tanisha Harper) had a surprise family reunion and more. Steamy Behavior
At Aurora Wellness, Chase told Willow about his meeting with Monet and the attorney’s recommendation that he move back into the Quartermaine mansion to protect his position as Phoebe’s father in case he and Brook Lynn do divorce. He noted that he still loved Brook Lynn but wasn’t sure if they could do the necessary work on their marriage with her family interfering. Sympathetic to his situation, Willow shared how her return to the gatehouse has benefited Wiley and Amelia and advised Chase that moving back in was the best thing he could do for his daughter.
After Chase left, Willow was in the steam room and was rattled by an erotic fantasy about her and Chase!
Pushed To The Edge
Ava confronted Sonny about his plan to take Avery (and Donna) out of school to go to the ballet in New York City. When she refused to give permission, an irritated Sonny hissed that Ava’s consent wasn’t required because he controlled the custody agreement. They got into a screaming match over their daughter, with Ava threatening to take Sonny back to court and Sonny threatening to turn Avery against her mother.
Backed into a corner, Ava gave the school her okay for Avery to take time off, but she left Sonny’s house more resolved than ever to bring Sonny down. Later, Ava met up with Drew and told him that while she would never trust him after he’d framed Nina, she would do whatever it took to take Sonny down for good.
Trust Issues
Drew told Michael he’d seen Willow and Chase in the workout room, and they’d seemed close. As they discussed their messy history with Willow, Michael didn’t care who she spent time with; he’d moved on, and being cordial with his ex was the best thing for his children. Drew owned up to the mistakes he’d made and the people he hurt along the way, saying he, too, wanted to move forward. But when Drew pitched combining forces with Michael and Jordan to take Aurora “to the next level,” Michael made it clear that while he’d agreed to work with Drew, he didn’t trust him.
Home Sweet Home
At the Quartermaine mansion, Monet insisted Tracy let Chase move back in to be with Phoebe. When Tracy refused, Monet declared she was prepared to file for legal separation on Chase’s behalf, including a custody agreement. The women butted heads over whether Brook Lynn or Chase would be better positioned to have Phoebe if they divorced, with Monet ultimately warning Tracy to do what was in her granddaughter’s best interest.
Later, Tracy told Michael she’d agreed to allow Chase to move back in, which Michael thought was a bad idea. Once Chase arrived, Tracy set her ground rules, and he retreated to his guest room to unpack. Alone again with Michael, Tracy outlined her plan to nudge Chase into committing adultery with Willow, which would in turn give Brook Lynn full custody of Phoebe. “How can I help?” Michael smirked.
Pro Bono
At Pentonville, Sidwell asked Alexis to represent him, saying he’d been under duress when he signed the plea agreement and wanted a new trial. Alexis refused, despite Sidwell’s claims that Sonny was trying to have him killed. Before returning to his cell, a distressed Sidwell implored Alexis to at least convince Sonny to leave him alone.
Out of the Shadows
At the Metro Court Gardens, Jordan told Justine that she’d seen her kissing Sonny in the Brown Dog parking lot. Justine confided that her feelings for Sonny were genuine, but Jordan warned her that if they went public, Sonny’s reputation would tarnish hers despite him having gone legit.
Justine thanked Jordan for her discretion and concern, and on her way out, she texted Sonny to meet. When she got to the studio above Charlie’s Pub, a frazzled Justine stated it might be their last time meeting because Jordan had seen them kissing.
Family Reunion
Meanwhile, Jordan was annoyed when her next appointment was a no-show. As she was leaving the restaurant, she came face to face with Monet — and was less than thrilled to see her younger sister in Port Charles!
Monet wasted no time getting in a dig at Jordan, observing the scar on her face and snarking, “Is that a new look?”
