General Hospital Recap: Sidwell Implicates Willow to Lulu as Anna Gets News About Robert
On the Tuesday, October 6, episode of General Hospital, Lulu (Alexa Havins) hit the investigative reporting jackpot while speaking with Sidwell (Carlo Rota), Anna (Finola Hughes) got news about Robert (Tristan Rogers), Chase (Josh Swickard) and Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) opened up about the end of their marriage to Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) and Valentin (James Patrick Stuart), respectively, Jason (Steve Burton) rescued Serena (Kelly Kruger) and more. Here’s everything that happened.
Sneak Attack
Lulu went to G.H. on assignment for The Invader to interview Sidwell but was shut down by Elizabeth. Later, Lulu ran into Felicia and asked how Maxie was doing in Australia. Felicia encouraged Lulu to reach out herself, promising that Maxie would want to hear from her despite how everything went down with Cassius.

Elizabeth checked on a heavily drugged-up Sidwell. When he questioned if she’d take revenge on him on Lucky’s behalf, Liz replied that while she despised everything about him, her job was to treat Sidwell like any other patient. But outside of making sure he returned to Pentonville healthy, she wouldn’t give him any other help.
Lulu swiped Felicia’s ID badge, put on scrubs and sneaked into Sidwell’s room and announced that she wanted to interview him. Sidwell complained that the PCPD had entrapped a grieving father while people far more guilty continued to walk the streets, like Sonny, Britt, and Willow. Intrigued, Lulu pulled out her cell phone and pressed play on her recording app. “You mean Congresswoman Willow Tait?” she clarified. “The one and the same,” Sidwell confirmed.

Ghosts of the Past
While at G.H. for an appointment with Dr. Nichols, Anna learned from Felicia that Robert and Holly would soon be coming to Port Charles for a visit. While they were in town, Robert would close out his tenure as D.A., then he and Holly would make France their permanent home. Although happy that her ex-husband was retiring, Anna told Felicia that she always figured Robert would settle down in Port Charles.
During her session with Dr. Nichols, Anna shared that she’d been caught off-guard by the news of her ex-husband’s relocation to France because the country conjured up complicated feelings since she’d been institutionalized there.

As they continued talking, Anna revealed that Faison had a hold over her that she’d always struggled to compartmentalize. But after she’d almost killed Britt, Anna realized that Faison only had power over her because she carried him with her. As tears of relief streamed down her face, Anna announced that she finally knew it was possible to be free of Faison’s specter.
Believe It or Not
After running into each other at the Metro Court Gardens, Chase and Willow went back to the gatehouse. He apologized for putting her in a weird spot after his fight with Brook Lynn, but Willow insisted there was nothing to worry about… unless Chase was reconsidering his decision that it was okay for them to spend time together?
Over wine, Chase opened up about the end of his marriage and the brewing custody fight with Brook Lynn over Phoebe. Sharing her perspective from her own breakups, Willow urged Chase to try to work things out, but he said he wasn’t willing to do that anymore. He worried that Brook Lynn might try to outmaneuver him to keep Phoebe, and he needed to be prepared to do the same.

Willow said she knew Chase would remain his honorable self amid the split, but warned that people might question his motives, so he had to remember that Phoebe was his priority. She added that she appreciated Chase’s belief in her as she dealt with her own situation with Michael, and Chase replied that he’d always believe in her.
Shape Shifter
Up at the main house, Valentin stopped by to drop something off for Danny from Charlotte and ran into an upset Brook Lynn. As she vented about her family imploding, Brook Lynn wondered if it was karma for having tricked Valentin into believing she was pregnant with his child years ago.
Valentin confided that he’d always thought Brook Lynn and Chase were mismatched because she could never be her authentic self — a woman who’d successfully managed to pull a fast one over on a master manipulator like himself — and instead played the role of a woman Chase could love.

Valentin pointed out that if Chase never made her feel insecure in their relationship, she wouldn’t have had to lie in the first place and doubted that the breakup was entirely Brook Lynn’s fault. Acknowledging they were both responsible, Brook Lynn said she’d always love Chase and want the best for him, but she was terrified that he’d go back to Willow. Brook Lynn groaned that she wished someone could get Chase to see who Willow really is.
Financial Times
At the Metro Court Gardens, Josslyn told Hudson she wanted to use JJE to bankrupt Sonny. Hudson tried to talk her out of it, claiming she’d be risking the entire company to carry out a personal revenge. Josslyn insisted she wasn’t putting JJE’s dealings on hold, then (off-screen) laid out her idea of how dismantling Sonny’s businesses could benefit the company.

Impressed by her vision, Hudson agreed it was a smart way to diversify their portfolio. However, he warned there could be repercussions if the plan worked now and Josslyn attempted to execute a similar strategy for the wrong reasons in the future and failed. Josslyn firmly reminded Hudson that, as CEO, the decisions were hers to make, and informed him to let her know once he was ready to move forward.
Ticked Off
Jason came to Serena’s rescue when she got stuck on the Quartermaines’ roof while trying to save the peregrine falcons’ nest that Tracy wanted exterminated. Jason agreed to help Serena relocate the nest to the nature preserve adjacent to the property (aka, where Drew and Ava buried Jack Brennan). Once they returned to the house, Serena told Jason they should both check themselves for ticks and asked him to examine her hair.

Will Sidwell expose Willow’s criminal activities to Lulu? How do you think Josslyn plans to destroy Sonny’s companies? Would Jason and Serena make a good couple? Share your thoughts about the latest episode of GH in the comments below!
