General Hospital Recap: Lulu Starts Connecting the Dots About Drew and Jack’s Strokes
On General Hospital on Wednesday, October 7, Lulu (Alexa Havins) got some major scoop from Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) and Lucas (Van Hansis), Drew (Cameron Mathison) and Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) got into another screaming match, Scout (Kayden Brenna Tokarski) tried to play peacemaker between Danny (Asher Antonyzyn) and Rocco (Finn Carr), Gio (Giovanni Mazza) and Emma (Braedyn Bruner) had some big news for Tracy (Jane Elliot), Carly (Laura Wright) shared her perspective with Anna (Finola Hughes) and more. Here’s the breakdown.
Stroke of Luck
Lulu told Drew she wanted to write a profile about his amazing recovery after his stroke and got him to sign a HIPAA waiver so she could speak with his doctors about his condition.
Meanwhile, at G.H., Elizabeth and Lucas agreed that Sonny was behind the attack on Sidwell and Curtis, and Liz added that she was worried about how Sonny’s involvement was affecting Dante. Later, Liz found Lulu speaking with a nurse about getting a copy of Drew’s medical file and noted that she and Lucas were both on duty the night Drew was admitted.

Lulu’s radar pinged when Elizabeth added that Willow’s description of Drew’s symptoms had been instrumental in them starting the stroke protocol right away, and Willow had been involved in his treatment every step of the way. Lucas and Liz explained to Lulu that Drew and Jack had both experienced the rare locked-in syndrome, and Lulu suspected there was a connection between Drew and Jack’s strokes.
Moving Pieces
Gio and Emma told Tracy they were moving in together. Gio shared that he believed Sonny was behind Curtis’s beating and apologized for not listening when Tracy warned him that there was another side to his grandfather. Tracy said she was sorry Sonny had disappointed him; she’d only been trying to shield Gio from the pain he was now feeling.

Emma thanked Tracy for not gloating, and they pledged to both be there for Gio. After Tracy went to bed, Gio confided to Emma that he was ready to move in together, but not yet ready to tell Sonny he was moving out because, despite everything, he cared about hurting his grandfather.
Duke It Out
At Volonino’s, Rocco made up an excuse to avoid leaving town when Dante pitched a trip to Bensonhurst, not wanting to be separated from Scout. Across the gym, Alexis learned about Rocco and Danny’s fight and groused to Molly that both Danny and Scout were being failed by their fathers. Drew overheard her badmouthing him, inciting another confrontation.

Rocco and Dante heard Drew threatening to send Scout to boarding school if Alexis and Molly violated the restraining order. Later, as Alexis resolved not to give up on Scout, Drew called Lulu to meet up for the interview, saying he was ready to tell the world about all the obstacles he’d overcome.
Scout’s Honor
At the gatehouse, Scout tried to patch things up with Danny, and also tried to get Danny to forgive Rocco. Danny stated that many things had happened to change his view of Rocco and he didn’t think he could get past that, but he reaffirmed that Scout would always be his sister.

Later, Dante showed up to speak with Danny. Worried about both boys, Dante also encouraged Danny to make amends with Rocco.
Meanwhile, Rocco met up with Scout and was happy to hear that she and Danny were on better terms. He promised never to make her choose between him and her brother. Rocco decided not to tell her about her father’s threat to send her to boarding school, but he and Scout agreed it was necessary to continue hiding their relationship — especially from Drew.
Helping Hands
Carly summoned Anna to her office and asked her to mentor Josslyn. Anna declined, explaining that she’d almost killed Britt and, after everything she’d been through, didn’t trust her own judgment.
Anna shared that her therapist wanted to bring Valentin in on her sessions, since he’d been part of her life during her original interactions with Faison, but said she didn’t want to impose on him. Certain that helping Anna would help Valentin, Carly urged Anna to let him join her in therapy. Anna worried that dredging up his past with her could affect the happiness he’d found with Carly, but Carly insisted that helping Anna would make Valentin happy.

Will Lulu expose Willow’s role in Drew and Jack’s strokes? Should Rocco have told Scout about her father’s threat to send her away? Will Carly regret pushing Anna to include Valentin in her therapy?
