General Hospital Recap: Josslyn Interrogates ‘Nathan’ as Brook Lynn Confesses to Tracy
On General Hospital on Wednesday, April 15, Tracy (Jane Elliot) devised a plan to cover up Brook Lynn’s (Amanda Setton) apparent crime, Ava (Maura West) went to bat for Jenz (Carlo Rota) with Laura (Genie Francis), Ezra (Daniel Cosgrove) make a drunken spectacle of himself, Josslyn (Eden McCoy) dug for information about “Nathan’s” (Ryan Paevey) family tree, Curtis (Donnell Turner) supported Jordan (Tanisha Harper) as she viewed the damage to her face for the first time since the accident, and Justine (Nazneen Contractor) announced to Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) that she was determined to prosecute the other driver who left her friend for dead! Here’s everything that happened.
Just Between Us
Tracy noticed that Brook Lynn’s car had a massive scrape on the passenger side and told her granddaughter that Danny — unsupervised and out of control with his father gone — must have taken the vehicle for a joyride, then hid it in the classic car garage. As Tracy ranted that they needed to clamp down on Danny before he hurt someone, Brook Lynn revealed that she had also been involved in the car crash on Route 91. She explained that when she’d been headed to Charlie’s Pub to see Gio, another car entered her lane, so she honked and then both cars swerved to avoid each other. The scrape happened when she hit the guardrail, Brook Lynn added.
Brook Lynn detailed that because she’d had one glass of wine before she left the house, she panicked and kept going because she was afraid that she’d have to do a breathalyzer test and a DUI would affect her and Chase’s chance of eventually adopting a baby. Brook Lynn swore that she had no idea the other car had even crashed and said that it wasn’t until Chase mentioned Curtis and Jordan’s accident that she realized what had happened. Now knowing that Jordan could have died, Brook Lynn wanted to go to the police since she’d technically not done anything illegal.

Tracy talked her out of it, pointing out that doing the right thing would ruin Brook Lynn’s life. She told her granddaughter to hide her car next to the boathouse, and she would handle getting the vehicle repaired. Instructing Brook Lynn to never speak about the accident to anyone else — especially not Dante — Tracy declared that they would be the only two people to know about it.
Case Closed?
At the PCPD, Dante told Justine that the department had closed its investigation into Curtis and Jordan’s crash as a single-car accident, but they were still following up on the other driver. Then, he gave her the forensics report on Marco’s murder, and Justine mentioned that Sidwell was convinced Sonny and Jason were behind the killing. They discussed how Jason and Sonny had solid alibis, and Justine noted that the lack of useful evidence in such a violent crime was conspicuous. Dante noted that the only thing taken had been Marco’s phone (not his cash or gold chain), so if they tracked down the phone, they’d have their suspect.
First In Flight
Ava dropped by Laura’s office, and when the mayor began griping about Jenz Sidwell’s demand for a new flight path for his helicopter, Ava suggested Laura encourage the city council to push it through because Jenz always got what he wanted. Laura retorted that Sidwell was dangerous and she’d hate it if something happened to Ava because of her involvement with him. Ava smiled that she’d seen another side to Jenz, and he was throwing himself into his work so he wasn’t consumed by his grief over losing his son. When Ava added that approving the flight plan would build goodwill between the mayor and Jenz if she worked on it with him, Laura reluctantly agreed — but made Ava promise to be careful around him and let her know if anything felt off.

Over at Wyndemere, Sidwell ordered Ezra to get Mayor Collins on board with approving his new flight plan, then had a tantrum about the problems he was having with the politicians in his pocket. When he blasted Ezra for his overall incompetence, the councilman barked back that Jenz was the common denominator in all his problems and suggested that he was the issue. Ezra continued to ramble that it wouldn’t look good if he pushed through the flight plan despite the opposition from the rest of the council. Calmly retrieving a pistol from the safe, Jenz threatened to fire Ezra if he couldn’t get the job done, but warned that the “severance package” was thorough and more damaging than a bad reference. Then, he demanded that Ezra get the flight plan approved.
Later, Ava came over to tell Jenz that Laura had agreed to push the flight plan forward. Jenz asked why Ava would reach out to Laura on his behalf, and she replied that she knew firsthand how difficult grief was without unnecessary complications; speaking with Laura was something she could do to help lighten the load for him. Touched by the gesture, Jenz said that he would never forget how Ava stood by his side during one of his darkest moments.

Happy Hour
Ezra went to the Brown Dog to drown his sorrows. Despite the bartender’s insistence that Boyle was on the no-serve list, Ezra demanded a glass of whiskey. Meanwhile, Dante received a phone call and told the other person that he’d handle the situation himself. Next, he went to the mayor’s office to tell Laura that Ezra was on his way to being drunk at the Brown Dog. Dante hinted that she could get payback for the times that Boyle put a camera in her face by calling a reporter to live-stream the councilman’s “dereliction of duty” at the bar. Heading down to the bar herself, Laura walked through the door just as an intoxicated Ezra called her a “sanctimonious, holier-than-thou, high and mighty mayor.”
Deep Dive
Josslyn ran into “Nathan” at the gym and asked him to work out together so she could grill him for info about Faison. Cassius couldn’t place her, but quickly covered that it had been a long time since he (as “Nathan”) had seen her. As they chatted about how family expectations could be demanding, Josslyn wondered if “Nathan’s” mother had pushed him to become a doctor, but he explained that he hadn’t grown up with Liesl. “Nathan” was taken aback when Josslyn mentioned that Faison was a doctor as well and replied that he only had two memories of his father: when he’d interrogated him once before they knew who they were to one another, and then when Faison had shot him. Fake-apologizing for bringing up “Nathan’s” father, Josslyn said that she’d been thinking about Faison a lot after finding his book, The Crystalline Conspiracy, which had a woman who looked like Anna on the cover.

“Nathan” pointed out that Faison’s obsession with Anna was no secret, but Josslyn pushed back that, per Emma, a big reason why Anna was in the mental institution was that she was insisting Faison was still alive. As Josslyn continued to ask about “Nathan’s” feelings about Faison and if Liesl ever talked to him about her history with the man, Cassius got testy and snapped that his father was a subject his family tended to avoid. After that, Josslyn commented that there were other people she could talk to about Faison and Anna, and “Nathan” demanded to know why she was so curious. Josslyn replied that Faison was fascinating, an international figure who played a crucial part in Port Charles history, and again apologized for not considering “Nathan’s” feelings before having the conversation. Nathan said he had to go and told Joss it had been nice to meet her. Quickly covering his mistake, he corrected himself, saying it had been nice to meet her again. On his way out, Cassius turned back and looked at Josslyn suspiciously.
Face Facts
Curtis was with Jordan at the hospital when Dr. Caldwell, a dermatologist, arrived to evaluate the injuries to her neck and face. After changing the bandages, Dr. Caldwell reported that there was no sign of infection, but the lacerations to Jordan’s face and neck might not fully heal because of the burns. He advised that she might want to consult with a plastic surgeon about scarring. Later, alone with Curtis, Jordan broke down as she confided that she’d never considered she might end up with scars and worried about how long it would take for her injuries to heal. Justine then showed up with flowers, but Jordan told her friend that she wasn’t up for a visit. Following Justine out to the elevator, Curtis asked if there was an update on the crash. When she replied that the PCPD determined it had been a single-car accident, Curtis pointed out that even though the cars didn’t collide, the other driver just left them… and the amount of time that passed before he was able to get Jordan out of the car might have made a difference in the severity of her injuries.

When Curtis returned to Jordan’s room, she asked him for a mirror, demanding to see her face. He helped her take off the bandages, and Jordan fought back tears at the sight of the cuts across her face. She asked Curtis to get someone to replace her bandages, and then, once alone, Jordan sobbed over her injuries. Meanwhile, Dante returned to his office after visiting Laura to find Justine waiting for him. Bringing up the car crash again, Justine announced that she wanted to nail the other driver for leaving the scene of the accident.
