Daytime Emmy Nominations 2026: Announcement Date and Ceremony Details
The nominees for the 2026 Daytime Emmy Awards are scheduled to be announced on Tuesday, July 14. However, as has become common practice in recent years, nominations in certain categories will be revealed the evening of Monday, July 13.
The 53rd annual competition will include longtime contenders General Hospital, The Young and the Restless, The Bold and the Beautiful and Days of Our Lives, and, for the first time, Beyond the Gates, which premiered in February during the 2025 calendar year eligibility period.
Who Will Be Nominated for Daytime Emmy Awards?
A few key nominations will be revealed prior to Tuesday: Michael Fairman reports that Entertainment Tonight will be sharing the nominations in the categories of Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series and Outstanding Daytime Talk Series on Monday, July 13, while Extra will be announcing the nominees in the Outstanding Lead Actor and Outstanding Daytime Talk Host categories during its Monday broadcast.
Then, the following day, The View will be revealing the nominations in three additional categories: Outstanding Daytime Drama Series, Outstanding Entertainment News Series, and Outstanding Daytime Personality — Daily.
Soap Opera Digest will publish the full list of nominations — including Outstanding Supporting Actor and Outstanding Supporting Actress, Outstanding Writing for a Drama Series, Outstanding Guest Performer in a Drama Series and the newest acting category, Outstanding Emerging Talent in a Daytime Drama Series — on Tuesday.
When Are the 2026 Daytime Emmy Awards?
The 53rd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards ceremony is scheduled to be held on Friday, October 30. While the event will be held in California, no venue has been officially reported. There has also been no official announcement from NATAS as to how fans will be able to watch this year’s Emmy ceremony. Last year, the show was streamed live via the official Emmys website and on The Emmys app.
