Sharon Wyatt grew up in Carthage, TN. Before entering grade school, she began taking dance and piano lessons, and acted in plays on her porch. The natural performer went on to act in high school, and played alto saxophone for the University of Tennessee at Knoxville band. Wyatt began acting professionally in plays, starring in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, The Boyfriend, The Tempest and The Gift of the Magi at Nashville's Circle Theatre. Then she toured the country as a singer.
In 1977, Wyatt made her TV debut guest-starring on NASHVILLE 99. In 1981, she landed her first contract role as GENERAL HOSPITAL's B-movie actress, Tiffany Hill (really Elsie Mae Crumholz). Wyatt left the role in 1984, but returned two years later. Tiffany married Sean Donely, played by John Reilly (now PASSIONS's Alistair). In 1994, the Donelys, who were expecting a child, were written off. In December 2005, the soap vet returned to daytime as PASSIONS's Rachel Barrett, Katherine's presumed-dead sister, who was out to kill Alistair. Rachel departed Harmony in July 2006.
