For someone who used to be a person who protected her family at all cost she certainly has turned into someone who will back stab them. I cannot believe she keeps bringing up the subject with Daniel. Obviously she can't stand for someone to be in love if they are not in love with her. At least her and Daniel slept together before, hopefully not while, Daniel and Chelsea were together. But still she knew how Chelsea was feeling and besides that she knew Daniel was interested in Chelsea even if he wouldn't admit it. Roman deserves someone better than the current Kate personality. I do want Chelsea and Daniel to work things out in time. He needs to grow a pair and step up in proving to her that he could be a better person. I don't want to see Chelsea back with Nick, I think she has grown up a lot more without him. I will keep my fingers crossed for Chelsea and Daniel. I hope the writers can figure out something for Kate that won't let her hurt her family anymore. Her and Paul would be perfect together, they both will do whatever it takes to hurt or use people.

This storyline is some serious character assassination for Kate. First of all the fact that she slept w/ a man when she was sober and he was drunk and hurting is somewhat cheap. Secondly, she slept with a man that she knew her granddaughter was hot for (crush or not). Thirdly, she doesn't really seem to feel bad about it at all. The way she was asking for forgiveness in the pub she might as well have been asking for sugar with her coffee. Prior to the "outing" she came off as paranoid and obsessive. I don't know how LK is supporting this storyline because it is poorly written, recycled, and not being acted out very well.

Kate says "I will protect my children and grandchildren at all costs." What was it that Daniel called her "Mama Wolf" well let me just say this, " Kate is the most disgusting, pathetic, ridiculous looking grandmother there is." I cannot believe that Lauren allowed this type of degradation of her character, sure we all bought into her story of having to become a call girl to make ends meet, to provide for her children, she was abused by her former husband Curtis(in which no woman deserves). We forgave her and knew she had to do it but how do you forgive a grandmother who clearly wants her granddaughter's boyfriend? The writers can fix this story and for the sake of Lauren's character I sure hope they do.Daniel and Chelsea were a match made in heaven and their love is so grand. Kate's character will be ruined if she goes after Chelsea's boyfriend as far as I am concerned. I know I am not the only one that thinks that. A grandmother does not go after the granddaughter's boyfriend. Days has been built on family values and Kate needs to step back. I will never have respect for Kate again if they have her and Daniel get together. Daniel and Chelsea are the couple that should be together and if Kate is a good grandmother, she will help bring Chelsea and Daniel back together and not keep them apart.

Kate is nasty! The s/l they have for her right now makes me want to puke! I think the writers are still on strike because seriously people who is writing this crap? Can we not have her assigned a different Doctor, can we have her go to the Hospitial and NOT run into Daniel? Can she not act like she is so madly in love with Daniel everytime she looks at him and then tries to act like she didn't want to hurt Chelsea. This character has certainly gone down hill in a bad way. She acts like she is the victim because Daniel is in love with Chelsea and not her. Well hello Kate you should have thought about that before you took advantage of him. The only difference between you being with Daniel and your previous occupation is I don't think Daniel paid you, although that may pop up in a vision sometime soon. Can someone please pull her bangs out of her face,,,she looks like a Havanese dog. Can the director not see that - helllo! She needs to quit thinking she knows the best for her kids, they certianly have done much better than she ever thought about doing. The writers either need to rescue Kate's character or write her off because what's been going on with her is just ridiculous.

Lauren is such a wonderful actress! I love Kate and I would hate to see Kate gone. It would be nice if Dena and Higley and company writes a nice and real story for Kate. Kate Roberts needs her own story. She's a grown woman. She doesn't need to be in her kid's life24/7.
