Tracey E. Bregman (Lauren, Y&R) answers Digest’s five burning questions!
When was the last time you cried?
“Yesterday. The situation with my dog, Buddha, has been very emotional.”
What career do you think you’d be bad at?
“Singing. Yes, I did it on the show years ago, and my dad was a wonderful musician, but I’ve always been terrible at remembering words. I memorize pages of dialogue, but can’t remember lyrics to save my life.”
What is your favorite question to someone you’ve just met?
“I always like to know what brought someone to this moment, so I ask where did they come from, and that leads to where they grew up, what their background is, etc. If it’s someone I know who has an interesting profession, then I usually ask first what brought them to do what they do. I love to hear people’s stories.”
If you could live in any era for a day, which one would it be?
“I would love to experience old Hollywood in the ’30s and ’40s.”
What is your favorite day of the week?
“Sunday. I start with CBS SUNDAY MORNING, which is my favorite show on the air, then I usually take a hike and read after that.”
