The Young and Restless spoilers video for the week of January 5 previews the Newmans switching up their tactics, the Abbotts discovering a possible way to come out on top in the war, and a life hanging in the balance!

Deadly Games

With Sienna (Tamara Braun) still missing and at Matt’s (Roger Howarth) mercy, Noah (Lucas Adams) remains fixated on rescuing the woman that he loves. “You said Matt would spot a tail over a mile away,” Noah worries to his father. But Nick (Joshua Morrow) is confident that he’s found a way to get the upper hand with the psycho. “Which is why we came up with a better plan,” Nick says reassuringly. But what is this new approach, and will it be successful in saving Sienna and taking Matt down?

Over at the Abbott mansion, Kyle (Michael Mealor) arrives with some good news for the beleaguered family. “What is this bargaining chip, and how did you get it?” Diane (Susan Walters) asks her son as Jack (Peter Bergman) looks on, intrigued. Kyle smiles slightly as he reveals, “A man from Sharon and Nick’s past has shown back up and is harassing them.” But Diane doesn’t see how that possibly helps them. “What does this have to do with Victor?” she wonders. Kyle’s grin widens as he teases, “Just wait until you hear.”

After holding Sienna captive in a motel room for a while, Matt decides it’s time to move her to a new location for the next phase of his plan. But as he and Annie (Catherine Kresge) struggle to get their prisoner into the backseat of a car, Sienna lashes out at her husband. “Hey, watch yourself!” Annie shouts as Matt gestures for her to back off. “No, no, it’s cool,” he declares, wiping the blood from his lip.

“You drew first blood,” Matt hisses as he advances on Sienna, grabs her by the throat, and gets all up in her face. “But I will draw the last.” Sienna cries out as her expression shifts from anger to abject terror. Can she still be saved?
