The Young and the Restless: Is Sally Pregnant With Billy’s Baby?
In the April 15 episode of Young and Restless, Sally (Courtney Hope) was clearly out of sorts, though she assured Billy (Jason Thompson) that she would be fine and instead turned to gal pal Audra (Zuleyka Silver) for support. But while Billy thought his girlfriend was simply under the weather, Audra knew that there was a distinct possibility that Sally was pregnant.
Sick With Worry
Sally wasn’t feeling well, so Billy bought her home from the airport, where they had gone to fly to London to visit his mother, Jill (Jess Walton). Sally felt terrible about ruining his plan to spend time with Jill, but he sat with her on the couch, promising that “Dr. Billy” would nurse her back to health personally. She urged him not to change his plans just because she had a little bug, but he wanted to make sure she was okay. Sally promised she’d be fine and suggested he could catch the next flight, but her insistence made Billy feel like she was trying to get rid of him.
Sally next tried suggesting that Billy should still keep his distance in case she’s contagious. With a chuckle, he countered that they’ve been spending so much time together, he’d already gotten sick if she was. He decided to get her some tea and soup, and once he was in the kitchen, Sally quickly texted Audra to ask for a favor.
Billy brought Sally the soup and tea and offered to read to her until she fell asleep, but she insisted she had a lot of work to do. She explained that she’d already contacted Audra to let her know she wasn’t going to London, so Audra was bringing over some contracts for her to sign. Concerned, Billy reminded Sally they’d promised to be honest with each other and asked if she was having second thoughts about accompanying him to visit Jill. She insisted that was not the case and she was just run down.

Friend in Need
When Audra arrived, Billy suggested she keep her distance so she didn’t catch Sally’s cold and expressed his reservations about her working in the first place. Sally pressed him to make the trip London, promising she’d be right behind him when she was feeling better. When he refused, she asked him to at least give her some time with Audra to take care of business. Once Billy left, Audra sat down and asked if she was sure she was okay, but Sally just wanted to know if she’d brought what she’d asked for.
Audra tried to keep things light as she joked about how buying one of “these” always makes her feel exposed, like everyone suddenly knows her business. Handing over the paper bag, Audra proposed that maybe her feeling under the weather was just something she ate, or that she actually did catch a bug. “No, I’ve been here before, Audra,” Sally sighed as she pulled out the pregnancy test and held it in her hands. “I know the signs.”

Pregnant Pause?
There’s a good reason why Sally might be uncomfortable with the idea that she’s pregnant. First, her relationship with Billy isn’t on entirely solid ground after their recent arguments about his obsession with Chancellor and getting revenge on the Newmans. While a baby could potentially bring the couple together and make them stronger, it could just as easily prove too much for them to handle, splitting them up once again, perhaps for good.
Also, the last time that Sally was pregnant, back in 2023, it ended in tragedy. First, she wasn’t sure if the baby daddy was Nick (Joshua Morrow) or Adam (Mark Grossman). After it was revealed that her one-night stand with Adam (to bid their romance good-bye) had resulted in the pregnancy, Nick still stuck by his girlfriend’s side and was there to comfort her as Sally learned she was suffering from preeclampsia, and the baby was later stillborn. Mourning little Ava left Sally devastated back then, so it’s understandable she would be scared at the prospect of carrying another child.
