General Hospital Weekly Spoilers Video: ‘I’m Here to Ask for Your Help’
The General Hospital spoilers video for the week of July 6 show John Oliver’s guest stint as Z continuing and Anna (Finola Hughes) returning to Port Charles at last — with plenty of drama on the horizon!
Slap Happy
The video begins with Z entering a room in what appears to be a WSB medical facility — and he stares down the mystery patient inside said room, who is handcuffed to a bed. Who is he visiting … and why are they in handcuffs?
Next, Carly (Laura Wright) is heard making an impassioned declaration. “My daughter has risked her life in the name of duty for the last time,” she says, her voice playing over an image of Josslyn (Eden McCoy) lying in her hospital bed at G.H. And in the next flash of footage, we see Carly slapping Z across the face (fulfilling one of the item on John Oliver’s wish list from when he first pitched himself for a soap opera appearance)!
The action then shifts to Anna’s condo. As Anna and Felicia (Kristina Wagner) walk through the front door after traveling back from France, they are greeted by several of Anna’s loved ones. “Welcome home!” shout a beaming Mac (John J. York), Emma (Braedyn Bruner) and Gio (Giovanni Mazza).
Anna is all smiles in response, and her homecoming appears to be a happy one on the surface. But after last week, viewers know something her family and friends don’t — which is that she is still at least partly faking her recovery, since she is still having visions of Peter August (Wes Ramsey)!
Emma quickly runs into her grandmother’s arms and hugs her tightly as she sighs, “I’m so glad you’re back,” and Anna is seen getting another warm hug from a visiting Dante (Dominic Zamprogna).
But Anna’s next guest is quite an unexpected one: Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati). Anna definitely appears to be surprised when she opens the door to find Obrecht standing there. “I’m here to ask for your help,” she says. Given the years of messy history between Anna and Obrecht, what is important enough to Obrecht that she’s seeking a favor from Anna?
