Things between Curtis (Donnell Turner) and Portia (Brook Kerr) softened slightly with the birth of their son, but that might change dramatically once it’s time to leave the hospital. “Since it’s baby’s first night home, maybe I can stay, too,” Curtis suggests. But will Portia think that’s such a good idea?
Lulu (Alexa Havins) wants nothing more than to repair her fractured relationship with Charlotte (Bluesy Burke), but drew the line at giving in to her daughter’s request to live with Carly (Laura Wright) to be closer to her father, Valentin (James Patrick Stuart). She was further shaken when Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) suggested Lulu should consider allowing Charlotte to live with Valentin. “I know what I have to do,” Lulu admits. “I’m just not sure I can do it.” Could she be about to give Charlotte what she wants?
At the gym, Michael (Rory Gibson) catches up with Jordan (Tanisha Harper). “Are you having any regrets about that?” he asks her. Are they discussing Jordan refusing to help Sidwell (Carlo Rota), even though he’d promised to repay her by getting her treated at the same European clinic that healed Michael’s scars?
Anna (Finola Hughes) has been trying to get up to speed on recent developments in Port Charles before returning to work as police commissioner. After learning that all of the evidence regarding Cullum’s (Andrew Hawkes) shooting on the pier has disappeared, Anna compares notes with Jack (Chris McKenna). “You seem certain,” she notes. “Why is that?” Will Jack tell Anna the whole truth about what really happened, or omit some pertinent details?
Valentin stole the black box he believed belonged to Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) in the hopes of using it as leverage against Jack, not realizing that the safe was, in fact, Jack’s. But Carly is concerned that he hasn’t thought this plan through. “What’s to stop Brennan from killing you the second he gets the box?” she worries.
