General Hospital Spoilers Video: ‘I Just Hope My Lies Haven’t Cost Me My Children’
The General Hospital spoilers video for Wednesday, January 7, kicks off with Trina (Tabyana Ali) having a change of heart. “We need to drop this and stay out of it,” she insists to Kai (Jens Austin Astrup). However, it would seem that he manages to convince her to continue investigating to prove that it was Michael’s (Rory Gibson) special ringtone they heard in the house on the night Drew (Cameron Mathison) was shot. Because then Gio (Giovanni Mazza) is in her apartment, not sure if he wants to get involved. “You’re gonna have to tell me what it is if you want my help,” he warns.
To Tell the Truth
In the interrogation room at the police station, Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) gives Nathan (Ryan Paevey) some new orders, and it’s something that only the detective himself can handle. “I don’t trust myself to do it,” Dante admits.
Michael is reeling from the testimony he gave in court and fears that he may now be the prime suspect in Drew’s shooting, though it’s not himself he’s really concerned with. “I just hope my lies haven’t cost me my children,” he sighs to Kristina (Kate Mansi).
Tracy (Jane Elliot) had promised Michael she’d keep his secret that he was at Drew’s house the night he was shot, and felt terrible when Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) tricked her into revealing in court that she’d seen her grandson at the scene of the crime. Still, as she tells Lulu (Alexa Havins), “If it is him, heaven help him.”
Drew continues to run roughshod over Alexis, insisting that he knows how to do the attorney’s job better than her and directing Willow’s (Katelyn MacMullen) defense as much as he possibly can. Alexis feels that positioning Michael as an alternative suspect created enough reasonable doubt in the jury to get Willow found not guilty, but he doesn’t seem as confident. “I want no doubt,” he declares. “That’s why you’re putting me on the stand.” But would Alexis really risk the case by letting Drew testify again?
