General Hospital Spoilers Video: ‘I Could Lose Maxie — And My Family’
The General Hospital spoilers video for the week of February 16 is a case of good news/bad news. While Maxie (Kirsten Storms) awakening from her coma after six long months should be a cause for celebration, not everyone is happy about her return to Port Charles!
Family Reunion
When Maxie regained consciousness at the long-term care facility in Boston, she was immediately reunited with her mother, Felicia (Kristina Wagner), as well as her son, James (Gary James Fuller), her daughter, Georgie (Lily Fisher), and her longtime beau, Spinelli (Bradford Anderson). And once back in her home, she’s also able to welcome her youngest child, Bailey Lou, into her arms for a big hug.
As the news of Maxie’s recovery spreads across Port Charles, Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) shares it with her son, Nathan (Ryan Paevey). “Maxie is awake!” she reports enthusiastically.
With a big, Nathan-sized question mark hanging over their future, Spinelli is no longer confident that he’ll be able to remain a part of Maxie’s life — or the lives of the kids that he’s been helping her raise since they reunited. “I could lose Maxie,” he worries. “And my family.”
Nathan doesn’t seem quite as thrilled by the news, appearing almost concerned as Obrecht declares, “You and Maxie are meant to be together. And nothing can get in the way of that.”
Lulu (Alexa Havins) is also conflicted, given how close she and Nathan have become during Maxie’s absence. Is she more worried about losing her chance with Nathan, or Maxie’s anger when she finds out what happened between them while she was trapped in a coma?
And when Nathan pays a visit to the cemetery to check out his own gravestone, someone walks up behind him in the dark. Is it Obrecht, checking on her son, or perhaps Britt (Kelly Thiebaud), hoping to offer her brother some comfort? Or might it be someone else entirely … someone like Maxie?!
