General Hospital Recap: Willow Confesses To Drew That She Shot Him, Portia Gets An Ultimatum And More
On the February 5 episode of General Hospital, Drew (Cameron Mathison) finally learned that his beloved wife, Willow (Katelyn MacMullen), was the one who shot him! Meanwhile, Michael (Rory Gibson) updated Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Carly (Laura Wright) on the custody agreement, Chase (Josh Swickard) and Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) again argued about her cousin, Curtis (Donnell Turner) threw down an ultimatum to Portia (Brook Kerr), Molly (Kristen Vaganos) inspired Ric (Rick Hearst), Jordan (Tanisha Harper) gave Justine (Nazneen Contractor) advice, and more! Here’s all that happened.
Sage Advice
On the way to yoga class, Justine bumped into Jordan and asked the former police commissioner about some cold cases against Sonny. Since he’d been questioned in dozens of cases but only convicted of one, Justine wondered if he’d become the PCPD’s default suspect, often allowing the real perp to get away, and wasn’t as bad as she’d been led to believe. Scoffing at Justine’s apparent soft side for Sonny, Jordan warned her that he was not an innocent man. It was easy to fall under Sonny’s spell, Jordan noted, but also a big mistake — especially if you stood in the way of something he wanted. And there was one big thing she could think of that Sonny would want from Justine. “You think he’s cultivating me to protect his son in Drew Cain’s shooting?” Justine mused. Going on to share that there was inadmissible evidence in Drew’s shooting that made her question if a case against Michael would even make it to trial, she said that Sonny would have nothing to do with the D.A. office’s decision to prosecute Michael. Still, knowing how far Sonny would go to shield his kids, Jordan told her to do the opposite of whatever Sonny advised her to do.

Say It With Flowers
While at Bobbie’s with Brook Lynn, Chase overheard Molly talking on the phone about her interview with Michael. Declaring that her involvement was a massive conflict of interest, Chase began badgering her for details, but Molly avoided direct answers, then scurried off when Ric arrived. Returning to his table, an incredulous Chase expected Brook Lynn to take his side, but his wife declared that he’d overstepped. When Chase snarked that everyone connected to investigating Michael was related to him, she pointed out that he was, too, and wondered why he wouldn’t let it go. As they continued to argue, Brook Lynn accused her husband of being so locked in on Michael that he wasn’t viewing the situation clearly, since there were plenty of other possible suspects. Chase huffed that both she and Dante acknowledged that Michael was capable of shooting Drew but didn’t want to accept the likelihood that he did, then stormed out.
Across the diner, Molly told Ric about her fight with Cody over her book and whined that Cody wouldn’t have been insulted if he hadn’t read the manuscript without her permission to begin with. Suggesting that her words probably triggered all of Cody’s insecurities, and he was probably thinking about how he’d screwed things up with her, Ric advised Molly to take the first step in reconciling. Molly countered that Ric should take his own advice and reach out to Elizabeth, but he shared that he’d been shot down more than once and didn’t want to ruin the friendship they now had. Then, Molly told her dad that she liked how Elizabeth saw the man he could be, and maybe Elizabeth could help him see that, too.

Later, at the hospital, Liz saw Isaiah carrying a beautiful flower arrangement and was shocked to discover that they were for her — Ric had sent them to her. Ric arrived and invited his ex-wife to dinner. He was delighted when she accepted.
All Keyed Up
Carly and Sonny met with Michael at the Quartermaine kitchen, where he told his parents that he’d reached a custody agreement with his ex-wife. Carly didn’t understand why Michael would negotiate with Willow in the first place. He told his mom he was being investigated for shooting Drew and didn’t want to take the risk that the new judge would side with Willow and give her full custody. It was either compromise with Willow or leave the country with the kids, he confided. Michael lamented that he hated giving Willow the visitation at all, but the kids wanted to see their mom.
Next, talking about Michael’s meeting with Molly and Nathan, Carly wondered if he left anything out that the police might uncover, but Michael said there was nothing else. Flashing back to Justine’s declaration that she would not be personally prosecuting Michael, Sonny asserted to his son that he wouldn’t go down for the crime. Things got awkward when Chase and Brooklyn entered the kitchen, so Michael walked his mother out. Brook Lynn and Sonny then stepped into the other room to talk about Gio, leaving Chase alone in the kitchen. Seeing Michael’s keys on the table, Chase recalled Molly stating earlier that Michael had no means of getting into Drew’s house, then picked up the key ring.

Gotta Have Options
At Miller & Davis, Curtis asked Alexis to help him get a court order for a paternity test. But after exposing Portia’s pregnancy in court, Alexis didn’t want to be the person who forced her to take a paternity test. Though disappointed, Curtis understood his friend’s position and asked her if he at least had grounds to compel Portia to take a test. Replying that he did so long as it didn’t jeopardize the baby’s life, Alexis advised him against pursuing the matter because it would only further complicate the situation and set a bad tone for his and Portia’s co-parenting journey. Curtis felt his life was on hold until he knew if the baby was his, and didn’t want to miss out on time with this baby the way he had with Trina, since Portia hadn’t been upfront back then. Alexis suggested that he communicate that to Portia before he opted to do something drastic.
Meanwhile, Portia returned to work on probation, and no longer as co-chief of staff. When she and Isaiah caught nurses whispering about them, she insisted the gossip would be old news soon and said that since she wasn’t his boss anymore, they had nothing to hide. But when they joked about commuting from his cabin together, she became worried that he felt they were moving too fast. However, he insisted he wasn’t having second thoughts and only wanted to make sure she was happy. Later, Portia caught up with Elizabeth and shared how at peace she was in her relationship with Isaiah, and how much easier this pregnancy was than hers had been with Trina (which had coincided with the breakup of her marriage to Taggert). Things were still dicey with Curtis because he wanted her to take a paternity test, she added, but she wanted to enjoy her pregnancy and not add extra stress.

Opposite this, Lucas sympathized with Isaiah when he shared that the staff was whispering about him and Portia. Having experienced that firsthand during his relationship with Brad, Lucas offered to be a sounding board if Isaiah ever needed to talk. Isaiah mentioned that so far, there were no issues, and he hoped that there wouldn’t be complications with Curtis if the baby turned out to be his. Lucas suggested that Isaiah do what he could to keep the peace, sure that Curtis would put the baby’s best interest first, and Portia would probably appreciate him doing the same. Later, Lucas was chatting with Portia at the hub when Curtis arrived. As Lucas eavesdropped from the other side of the desk, Curtis gave Portia a one-week deadline to do the paternity test, or else he would get a court order. Fuming, Portia spat that she’d do things on her own terms and challenged Curtis to get the court order if he wasn’t okay with that.
Clear And Present Danger
At the hospital, Drew was prepared to be transported home. Liz made sure Willow knew what she was getting into by taking over her husband’s care at home, but Willow insisted that she was the only person who could give him what he needed right now. Since Drew couldn’t verbally communicate, Lucas reiterated with the patient that blinking once meant yes and twice meant no, and Drew blinked once when Willow asked him if he was ready to go home. Then, Drew was wheeled onto the elevator by an orderly, and the Cains headed home.
At the Cain house, Trina flipped out that Kai was overseeing the delivery of medical supplies for Drew’s care. Proclaiming the entire situation suspicious, Trina wanted Kai to resign from his internship, but he felt like he had to stick around to make sure Drew was safe from Willow. Just as Trina finished crying out that Willow was dangerous and they didn’t know what else she was capable of, Willow arrived at home. When Willow asked Kai to help the attendant bring Drew in from the back door, Trina exited out the front, not wanting to be in the way. Playing the doting wife, Willow told Kai how much it meant to her to have Drew home.
After leaving Drew’s, Trina and Kai went to Miller & Davis, and Alexis was shocked to hear that Willow was caring for Drew at home. For Scout’s sake, she was appreciative that Kai had decided to remain as Drew’s intern to keep an eye on things, but urged them to come to her immediately if they saw anything suspicious.

Meanwhile, once the attendant got Drew settled in the bedroom and left, Willow stalked up to her husband. Confirming through one blink that he could hear her, Willow informed Drew that she was the one who’d shot him!
