General Hospital Recap: Ned Has A Heart Attack, Willow Is Released, Brook Lynn Confronts Chase and More
The November 11 episode of General Hospital was full of tense moments! Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) helped Gio (Giovanni Mazza) out when Ned (Wally Kurth) had a medical crisis, Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) made his first big decision as acting commissioner of the PCPD, and Chase (Josh Swickard) and Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) argued over his allegiance to Willow (Katelyn MacMullen), who was released from Pentonville just in time to spot Wiley (Viron Weaver) hanging out with Michael (Rory Gibson) and Jacinda (Paige Herschell). For all the details — and to find out what else went down — keep on reading!
Hiring Squad
Dante, who had been told that Anna had taken a leave of absence from the PCPD due to a WSB assignment, was settling into the role of acting commissioner and called Nathan to the PCPD and asked him to return to the force to assist with the ongoing cases. Nathan was delighted to accept. The former partners discussed Dante’s concerns about Anna working with the WSB, and Nathan mentioned that it couldn’t have been an easy decision for Mayor Collins to appoint the mobster’s son as acting commissioner while Anna was out of town. Dante revealed that he’d brought up similar concerns to Laura, but she’d wanted him in the position. Then, Dante assigned Nathan to be Chase’s partner but warned him that Chase had blind spots when it came to Willow being the top suspect in Drew’s shooting since they’d once been married. Officially welcoming his former partner back to the police force, Dante handed Nathan his gun and badge back, and they shared a warm bro hug.

For Better Or Worse
At the Quartermaines’, Chase was cornered by Brook Lynn, and he revealed to his wife that he was actively working to get Willow exonerated and had been visiting her in Pentonville. The spouses argued over Chase’s belief that Michael shot Drew and was framing Willow, and the fact that he was putting his job on the line by investigating that angle as a private citizen. Brook Lynn was upset that her husband was willing to risk his career over the situation, but Chase insisted that Willow was innocent. “You don’t know that Willow is innocent any more than you know that Michael is guilty!” Brook Lynn shouted.
Reminding Chase how devastated he was when he lost his badge after punching Valentin, Brook Lynn couldn’t believe he was willing to go through that again for Willow, especially since she had a great attorney in Alexis and the support of the victim himself, Drew. When Chase asked if she was really worried about his career or if what was really bothering her was that he might prove that Michael was responsible, Brook Lynn acknowledged that she didn’t want to believe it was possible, but knew that her cousin was capable of violence. She also didn’t want her husband to be the one to prove that Michael had done it and asked Chase to keep his distance. Chase roared that if Willow was wrongfully convicted while he’d stood by and done nothing, he’d blame himself. Finally, he told his wife that she didn’t need to agree that Willow was innocent or that Michael was guilty and asked her to accept that he needed to stand by his beliefs. “I might not like what you’re doing, but your reasons for doing it just make me love you even more,” Brook Lynn conceded.

Eye Spy
Michael invited Jacinda to the Metro Court Garden. As part of her plan to trap Willow’s ex, Nina showed up at the restaurant with Wiley, whom she’d promised an ice cream sundae, and smirked when she spotted Michael with the escort. When Wiley approached his father’s table, Michael introduced his son to Jacinda, telling him that she was also Nina’s assistant. Nina attempted to usher Wiley away, but Michael insisted his son join him and Jacinda for the treat. Stepping aside with Michael to speak privately, Nina questioned his decision to let her grandson hang out with a call girl, and Michael called her out for deliberately trying to trap him. When she threatened to inform the family court judge about his choice of partner, Michael threw Nina’s own past back at her and warned that by the time the visitation hearing comes around, Willow would be locked up anyway. Undeterred, Nina moved to document the “family outing” to show the judge who Michael was allowing to be around his son. Michael coolly welcomed her to do so — but cautioned that he’d then have her escorted out of the hotel, which his mother owned, and, as her boss, locked out of the Crimson office. Returning to the table, Michael called Nina’s bluff, telling Wiley and Jacinda that Nina wanted to take a picture of them, and they all smiled brightly as she snapped a photo on her cellphone. Later, Wiley was enjoying the sundae with his dad and Jacinda when Willow arrived at the restaurant — and she was stunned to see the trio looking cozy.

On The Move
Danny, Rocco, and Charlotte went to the hospital to wait for Britt to arrive at work so they could lift her key fob for Gio and Emma. Rocco urged Danny to reconsider, not wanting to give Drew any more ammunition to use against him, but Danny was determined to be a part of it. Then, Charlotte outlined her plan to have the boys distract their target while she lifted the fob from Britt’s purse.
Elsewhere at G.H., Liz was delighted when Lucas shared that he was moving in with Marco, but she wasn’t so sure that moving into Wyndemere with Sidwell was a smart decision. Stating that he was aware of Sidwell’s alleged crimes, Lucas reassured his friend that he and Marco would have their own wing — adding that even though it was soon, moving in with his boyfriend was a risk he was willing to take. When Liz then accused Lucas of trying to sabotage the relationship by giving himself an excuse to bail, he admitted that she was right. Liz urged him to take some time to think it over, but Lucas reasoned that living at Wyndemere was better than signing a lease. “Fine, your life is yours to ruin any way you see fit,” Elizabeth quipped, eventually supporting her friend’s decision.

How To Save A Life
Emma and Gio were on their way to the PCU campus when they found Ned lying on the ground outside of Bobbie’s, gasping for air. Calling Ned “Grandpa,” Gio rushed to his side, but when he turned back to have Emma call for help, his girlfriend was nowhere to be found. Worried when he couldn’t find a pulse, Gio was about to begin CPR when Britt rushed out of the restaurant and took over resuscitation duties. Following behind her, Emma was on the phone with emergency services, and Britt administered CPR while they waited for the ambulance.
Liz and Lucas were at the hub when Britt arrived with the paramedics, and she alerted them that the patient was Ned Quartermaine. She attempted to follow Liz and Lucas into an exam room, but was shut out because she wasn’t medical staff. When Gio and Emma got to the hospital, they ran into Charlotte, Rocco, and Danny, who shared that they were there to get Britt’s fob. Approaching the teens, Britt revealed that Ned’s heart rhythm had been restored, but he wasn’t out of the woods yet, and Gio thanked her for saving his grandfather’s life. Then, Britt realized that she was missing her bag and asked if any of them had seen it. Charlotte averted her gaze, glancing at the ground, and Britt raced off to see if she’d left it in the ambulance.

Spill The Tea
In the Quartermaine kitchen, Lulu arrived with a housewarming gift for Tracy, but Olivia told her she’d gone away to a spa. Olivia also mentioned that she’d heard Rocco and Danny discussing Britt, but they’d clammed up when they saw her. As she shared a cup of tea with her former mother-in-law, Lulu confided that Britt has been a sore subject between her and Rocco and expressed her concerns that their son was lying to her and Dante about time he’d spent with Britt. She acknowledged that she had no one to blame for herself for the way that Rocco learned the truth about his birth, but couldn’t forgive Britt or trust her around the family. Empathizing with Lulu’s situation, Olivia pointed out that Britt was a liar and a thief, and Rocco would eventually discover that for himself and realize Lulu was the one who had his back. Their conversation came to an end when Gio called Olivia to share the news about Ned’s medical crisis.
Credit Where Credit Is Due
Empty-handed, Britt reentered the emergency department, and Danny, Charlotte, and Rocco asked for her opinion on Ned’s recovery. Charlotte then subtly nudged Rocco, so he asked Britt if she’d found her bag. She had not, and she asked them to go back to Bobbie’s to look for it at the diner. Emma and Gio approached just as their friends were getting in the elevator, and Britt explained to them that she’d sent Charlotte, Danny and Rocco off on an errand to distract them from their worry over Ned. Meanwhile, in the exam room, Lucas confirmed that Ned had a heart attack, and when Liz noted that the medication wasn’t working, Dr. Jones determined that they’d have to do a coronary bypass if blood flow didn’t improve.

Back at the hub, Britt stepped aside when Olivia and Lulu arrived, and Olivia broke down when Gio explained that they believed Ned had a heart attack. Olivia thanked Gio and Emma for saving Ned, but Gio acknowledged Britt, revealing that she’d been the one to actually do ensure Ned’s survival. Then, Lucas came out and updated the group that Ned did indeed have a severe heart attack and would need emergency surgery to clear the blockage if he didn’t respond to medicine.
Later, Emma called Charlotte to alert the others that their plan was off since Gio didn’t want to leave the hospital. But given that they had found Britt’s purse at Bobbie’s, Charlotte, Rocco, and Danny decided to break into Professor Dalton’s lab by themselves….
